Top O the Mornin Dads! Took the day off to make for a 4 day weekend but Mother Nature is gonna be a PITA all weekend. Got brats and steaks planned on the grill, some good beverages, some war movie watching, a couple of cigars, following you knuckleheads on social media and enjoying family including some Zoom time with DD and SIL. Hang in there guys and everyone be safe - enjoy the weekend & cheers brothers.

For the record my list for Springs.

1. Get my Disney fix when in Orlando as multiple customers have conventions there - enjoy introducing team members to some of the restaurants and helping them find gifts for their kids or grandkids
2. Shopping - World of Disney and Christmas Store - easier than at the parks IMO
3. Raglan Road / Jocks / Boathouse

No t a fan of the new mall shopping they put in

A friend suggested that since graduations can't happen inside or outside, we should have the graduates all march through WalMart, Lowes, or the liquor store and have their names announced over the speaker.

Agree, C’mon communities figure something out for these kids

One more try with new settings. If this doesn't work, I give up and will go back to attaching them to the posts, which is a much bigger pain.

Sounds like you've turned a corner! That's great. Sounds like you might at least be getting used to it. We'll take it as a win.

I actually am glad for you guys who can handle the pounding and enjoy the runs. I think I react against it more due to a bunch of people in my circles who are hardcore distance runners, it's mostly all they talk about, and they tend to make you feel guilty if you don't enjoy it. Sort of like health food nuts. So it's not you, it's them.

Welcome back! Feel free to jump in anywhere. It is the same old nonsense as it always was but with an occasional Zoom virtual meet up thrown in occasionally. People got to see my beautiful face and confirm stereotypes about Kentuckians before I trimmed the beard. We are on a top 3 or top 5 review of various topics. Today's topic is top 5 characters you would like to have a drink with at the World and where.

Tough top 5 for me as I have never visited any of the locations for an adult beverage while there and to narrow any of you characters down to a top 5 isn't doable so I will go with Disney characters ...

What'd you miss? Apparently there's some kind of virus going around. Not sure if you heard about it.

Actually, some of us (not myself, but others) have had some loss as a result. In some cases it's people passing, in other cases it's job loss. I think in one way or another, it's certainly affected us all, just some more than others.

I've started watching "Prop Culture" on Disney+
(Not bad if you get a chance.)
The last one I watched was about The Nightmare Before Christmas. While I did see the singing voice of Jack, and the speaking voice, the show didn't have the voice of Sally. I was curious so Googled. Sally's voice was played by Catherine O'Hara! I had no idea.

Depression is the demon I always have to keep at bay (thus part of the reason for the long absence).

But being a natural introvert, the lock down has not bothered me quite like it seems to be agonizing others. I also got lucky in that the Missus is also a home body and we actually like each other's company, so on a psychological level at least, we're good.

We're good.
The young'en is currently unemployed, and as he works for a charity, NC is not being helpful in offering up unemployment. He's jumped through the hoops, but can't get any kind of answer. We'll help with the rent if it becomes necessary, but right now, he says he's alright.

Actually, some of us (not myself, but others) have had some loss as a result. In some cases it's people passing, in other cases it's job loss. I think in one way or another, it's certainly affected us all, just some more than others.

Sorry to hear of any one's losses. This mess has been surprising and somewhat eye-opening. I'll be glad when we've come up with some defenses other then asking folks to act responsibly (because y'all know that just ain't part of human nature). It's gonna take some time and resilience before we finally get straightened out.

This morning at work, a woman who's worked there for years (almost 44!) decided to take advantage of a retirement incentive package the company offered. She told me she'd put in for it today. I just heard, about four hours ago, that today was her last day!
I'm not sure if she's happy or not.

I'm on the congrats side. It isn't when I wanted to go, but it's still the same end result. Scheduled my last date far enough out to burn a month of sick time if we return from furlough.
