Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I am one of those poor, unfortunate souls who was on hold with GS for over 6 hours last night (after holding over 3 hrs and being disconnected earlier in the day!) only to be told “system is down”.

I already canceled our July GDT-CL res online, but was hoping to be moved for our August and September GDT-CL res’s (keeping same dates), which I do not have the option to modify online.

Called at 7am this morning and 35 minutes later still holding for the first CM who will have to transfer me to GS for more hold.

I just made CL reservations at USO: Royal Pacific and Portofino so Disney will get what they want from me this time: I’m cancelling the 2 reservations. I can do that online!

Gf rpc 8/20-22 will need to be moved because gf not open those dates.

I am able to use the change reservation button online for my poly cl stay 10/8-12. It shows CR, gf and poly still offering cl(I only checked mono area). So I left that one alone and will try to get info. For poly if they keep Hawaii open I prefer that building so I am keeping for now.

I did ask about CL since it still shows available for my October stay. They only know it is not available now but don't know the future. She agreed me that keeping poly good idea if I want to stay in the Hawaii building. I do so I am sticking for now.

Also told for start of new year 2021 no dining packages or FP's either.

Keep us posted, I have a club level stay at Jambo the last week of August that I'm considering modifying... (it's DVC and still showing as CL on my dashboard)

I wonder if CL is going to be at the discretion of each hotel manager if they think they can operate it safely?
 
So very frustrated. 13 hours on hold for GS. YC, CL august 22 for 8 nights. YC reopens on the 24th. WDW will not let us book a split stay nor will they honor the two nights at a reduced rate if new bookings are allowed.

According to the agent she was blocked from booking us CL anywhere. Poly CL was blocked out completely. I asked if it was just not available for our dates or if blocked. Blocked. I asked if the rooms were on hold for the other deluxe CL that would need to be move. She did not think so. She believes no CL in August so not allowing you to book that type of room. This doesn't seem correct based on what I've seen here. I nicely explained that and she said the usual don't trust the internet.

She offered price protection for Poly theme park or lagoon view. But, not paying that for a view when no fireworks going on. Plus will loose service and food. Best she could do, which is nothing extra at all, move us to Poly standard with our current discount. Guess I'm entitled but between loosing CL and being kicked for NBA I expected something more of some sort. Really disappointed.

Think if I had kept YC CL for longer would have been in a better situation somehow. She said the poly standard rooms were going however and I should decide in the next day or two. After spending 13 hours trying to get ahold of her, I booked.

She said BCV would be 1 bedroom with price protection, but aagin no view, lost service and food and feel no need to pay that for a family of three.
 
huge part of why I'm upset. think either CL will get a partial refund for lessor amentities or full room difference without CL refund and some sort of extra, ie better room view. We would have been better off waiting to move I think

I get that issue....but mine has been existing for a while for my september stay. it dropped off when they deleted my dining plan and no one has been able to explain or fix
