So my new tree arrived and I'm struggling because the multi color lights don't include pink:( And why do i think my tree needs a collar?

Correct, you are sure you want to cancel and not PC though?

It’s DH’s card. He had a CSR and CSP. We PC’ed the CSR to a CFF. I was just going to cancel the CSP so that he can later apply for a CFU and get the SUB (he can’t get Biz cards, so CFU is the last Chase card he can get with a UR SUB). Bad plan? Definitely open to alternative plans.

Pretty sure you can PC down to a CFU (or other card), and STILL earn a new SUB on the CFU. In other words you can hold more than one of the same card (except CFF and Sapphires?), and you are always eligible for each SUB.
Wait to see if others verify this is correct, though.

You can PC to a 2nd CFF. My wife currently holds 3 of them, lol. You never know when having that card open could come in handy down the line.

You can hold more than one CFF and Sapphire also.

I'm planning on applying for a CIU in a few days. I had a CIP that I PC'd to a CIU, which I currently hold, and I've never rec'd a CIU SUB. Should I PC the CIU to a CIC before applying or just go for the CIU? Thanks!

We’ll be there at the end of March. I have been toying with:
5 nts instead of 3 to get 5th night free
And/OR
Applying for Hilton

i just got two Bonvoys so am working through the spends, so I want to be careful not to over-commit myself with the Aspire. But I also know now would be the time to get it to maximize the calendar year airline credit.

We have zero debt, paid off our house this year, blah, blah, thanks to that old crazy unbalanced, high demand job. Now we just need to adjust to our new lifestyle. I’m beginning to realize how much we spent in convenience and how our wants are still getting met, just in different ways. Thanks for the encouragement.
I like the idea of doing 5 nights to take advantage of the fifth night free, but I don't think you'd be able to get the points and still have availability for standard rooms for March. Of course anything is possible with Covid impacting travel to Hawaii. Although I've read mixed reviews of Diamond getting much of an upgrade there, it still would be nice to have if you do get the Aspire.

the T&C for that kinda scares me to try it. It seems that the only one that works is if ppl only have att tv and thats it. att tv now doesnt work, att tv + internet doesnt work... etc.

I was hoping this would work on our AT&T Fiber bill, but it sound like it won't. Oh well. Thanks for the heads up.

Working on MSR for Chase Marriott and buying 2 iPhones for gifts (just the SEs, nothing fancy) so I want to put it on that card. I do have an offer for 10% off at Lowe's but not sure a GC is the best way. We have T-Mobile, do they even have GCs? At Lowe's's? Otherwise straight up buying from T-Mobile seems the best as they charge $20 per phone for activation. Anyone have an idea I'm missing?

Question I am hoping someone here might be able to help with. I just booked a Disney trip for October 2021. Like normal I will aim to pay for this trip using gift cards to save as much as possible (5%+). I am considering applying for a Discover It card and using that as my 2021 gift card because of their 1st year match benefit (making some things 10%). Either way, the 4th quarter is Target.com, Amazon.com, and Walmart.com with a maximum of $1,500 purchase total. Do gift cards quality for this if I order through the website? Making them 10% off?

So last night when I logged into my Fios app to make sure ds's xbox cut off at 11, I had a notification that my bill was going to increase on 12/23. I chatted and was told it was going to go from $65 to $125 and didn't have any offers but to call customer service in the morning. Thankfully I spoke with a super nice woman and she was able to get the bill down to $60.

It worked for me when I did it, but it was several years ago. I even remember there being an Apple Pay promotion at Disney the year I got my discover It card. Can’t remember how much but I used Apple Pay every where I could at Disney. At the time not a lot of places took it yet. I did get tickets - this was before they had expiration dates on them and got matched for those too.

(SIGH) ok dumb question of the week..... if someone has (unbelievably) app'ed for a store card....(my DS went shopping for pants at Kohls yesterday, came home with this bit of news for me :sad2: ) How long must he now wait to app for the Flex? I was talking to him about getting the Flex in the a.m.(mostly for the phone coverage) he'd app'ed for CSP but denied (prob for good reason, he's young still and not enough income) was waiting the full 31 days beyond the CSP app.... now there's this store card pull (he's not 5/24 or anything)

I know that many people use R..ten for cash back. I recently added the ibotta extension to my web browser. Will IB interfere with the cash back site? I can't imagine that you can double dip.

Sorry for the questions this morning but trying to get some christmas shopping done using up as many offers as I can. For the Amex Plat Dell $100 credit, there is a link to shop through. Fine print says no gift cards but didn't some people buy gift cards and get the credit? There also seems to be a section called "Member Purchases" - are those the only things valid for the credit? I searched and found the video game I want but not sure if searching kicks me out of the credit-able section.

So no need to PC a CSP as you can have multiple? And sill get the SUB for the 2nd CSP?

??? I don't think that's how it works with the premium cards, CSP and CSR. Most people are PC.ing CSP's to be able to apply for the card again.

CSP and CSR have language saying that you can't get a bonus within 48 months of receiving a bonus or hold another Sapphire:

This product is available to you if you do not have any Sapphire card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for any Sapphire card in the past 48 months.

This language is right up front on the Sapphire landing page.
