What was going on with the wedding dress shopping/dad not coming to the wedding thing? She’s shopping for a dress last minute or her dad pre-plans his work crises well in advance? The whole thing was just too illogical and seemed really stupid. Maybe I’m just not understanding it right.

The thing about the episode tht bugged me was doing the whole leak repair in one afternoon. Doesn’t mud need a lot longer to dry before you can paint over it?

I saw the preview up thread (thanks for posting it) and my immediate thought was UGH Sophie again??? Can’t we just move on from her. I’ll be really disappointed if by the end of next season Kevin is with her.

Déjà seems way older than a 9th or 10th grade student. I didn’t even notice that’s the age she’s supposed to be playing.

Ugh, I really hope the person pulling up to the house in the flash forward isn’t Kevin with Sophie. Maybe it’s Jack and Kate.

I hate, hate, HATE the song that played at the end of the episode because it took me back to some very bad memories of my ex husband

I wonder if Kate worked at the diner so long because it was her clinging to a memory of her and her dad…probably.

Hoping that Madison and Kevin are done sooner rather than later. They have absolutely NO chemistry, and I find her character whiny and annoying. I'd hate to see Kate and Toby end, I hope they work through their stuff. And Nicky, just love him!

I just read that next season won’t start until January, 2022 so that they can run the final season with a minimal amount of breaks. It will be difficult to wait that long, but it will be nice to have it run almost straight through.

I really enjoyed last nights episode. The scene around the fire pit had me cracking up. Each character being so honest and then it got to Miguel.... wow his speech was so perfect. I loved when Kevin deleted Sophie from his contacts. But then at the end with Madison seemingly questioning their future... yikes! I can’t wait for the wedding next week to see how this plays out.
Also, I just love the relationship between Rebecca and Beth!

At the end of the episode, why did Madison keep replaying the recording of Kevin saying, "Trick question, she knows I won't grow old because I never want to be older than 40." I understand she is starting to question his love for her, but that statement did not seem very telling to me.

Also, I notice Kevin never says he loves Madison, just that he is crazy about her.

I think it was because he took time to answer the way he did. It was obvious he didn't have an answer so he turned it into a joke. I have a bad feeling Madison will be the one to not show up for the wedding, when it looked like it might be Kevin who wouldn't show.

This job that Toby wants that is in San Francisco, I imagine they would have to move, which would mean Kate has to give up her job and I have a feeling she won't want to. I wonder if this is what splits them up since it seems they are not together in the future.

When Kate asked Madison if she was happy, she just talked about how Kevin was stepping it up. She never did answer that she was happy. Those two have zero chemistry.

I'm very anxious to see if they actually get married next week. Also, I wouldn't put it past them to leave us with a wedding cliffhanger.

I think both of them are realizing that although they really like each other and enjoy being together, their main connection is the babies and that really isn't enough to build a marriage on.

It wasn't about what he said, I think she could read his face and pause. And remember this was after her openly acknowledging that he kind of ghosted her after sleeping with her.

I have said this one too many annoying times but the short conversation between Kevin's son and Randall during the fast forward - relaying and joking about how Kevin was out because he realized there was no food in the house - says to me that there is a good chance he is a single father.

Of course it is a stressful time with Rebecca and a man or woman can be responsible for that, but it was really highlighted. And Randall seemed to be sarcastic about last minute Kevin and/or no food in the house - as if it was relatively common.

Maybe Kate and Toby don’t split up, and the reason they aren’t together in the flash forward is because he lives where his new job is, and they see each other sporadically?

I don’t remember, did the Pearson’s buy their cabin, or was it passed down through family? If it’s in the Poconos it would cost a pretty penny.

it’s going to suck to have to wait til next year for the new season. It’s so sad it will be the last one. My hope for the finale is that they keep it realistic like it has been so far, not one big ‘and they lived happily ever after’.

I’m so glad Sophie got deleted. Hopefully she stays deleted lol

We saw Kevin delete Sophie’s old number..her new number will still be in his call record, unless he deleted that too but I think they wanted us to think he deleted her for good.

As much as I’m sad the show will end next year, I’m not sure I’d want a spin off.
