I was surprised to see Target here still requiring masks. Big signs up still, and boxes and boxes of masks at the entrance so they clearly know some are not expecting this.

No - and I’m not that far from you. I wonder if it’s location based or if your area might have county mandates?

NYC here, and only required if not vaccinated--- but that is "Suggested" per their signage

Haven’t been inside a Target in ages. No other stores require it so I seriously doubt the 2 Targets in our area would.

Just left local Target. Sign says masks not required for vaccinated guests. Masks recommended for others.

Masks are only not required at my store if you've been fully vaccinated. They still cant say anything to anyone though because the indoor mask mandate was lifted a few weeks ago.

Probably not.

I've almost forgotten about masks. I do have a couple in the auto still. We spent a week at Universal and Disney last week and none of the 7 of us (who are vaccinated) wore a mask . And none of us got sick.

It's gotten hot and humid here and I've just not put one on in several weeks.

Not around here, where every county (and some cities with their own health departments) seems to conform to CDC guidance and state rules. Still see a lot of mask wearing at Target, with free masks at entrances. There’s no checking and lots of kids go massless even though they’re too young to be vaccinated.

Only places I wear them now are medical visits and the hall ways and dining room in the assisted living section of my mom’s senior retirement community. You can officially take them on off when you go to the independent living section. Although, honestly you skip wearing them even in assisted living and many do even staff and there are no consequences. Many don’t. It’s confusing for the seniors that live there. I hate it.

CDC website seems to indicate that a business can decide to require masks without regard to vaccination status. In the same vein as businesses that has signs that say "No shirt, no shoes, no service"
