Within a year I suspect they will all be gone. If the florida mall one cant survive none probably can that store is always busy.

Now I don't really care if there are stores or not but with basically no stores they need to switch to free returns like so many other places have done because their sizing for clothes is all over the place and quality too.

I was looking at the list, and didn't see our local Disney Store listed on either list. Odd....we were there earlier last month, so I looked it up - between now & then they've closed! That's to bad -
We were in the one at the outlets in Lancaster Saturday, I was underwhelmed with the selection. But the place was PACKED, and folks were buying stuff left & right so it's certainly a popular store up there.

I'm sure a lot of this has to do with the target Disney pop up store experience they rolled out 2019 and 2020.

Awww that's a bummer, but not surprising.

They are closing one of the ones near me . We don't get there often anymore since DD started sports and it's across the county, but still sad over it. About 2 weeks ago we did a road trip from WI to NJ and spent a day in both Chicago and NYC and stopped in stores in both cities. I hadn't realized the Times Square one was reopened! That was such a nice surprise as I hadn't been there in years since we moved out of NY. Glad to see it wasn't on the list.

Edited to add. The North Michigan one in Chicago is the one we were in, closing 9/1.

My issue with just Target Disney shops is the fact that there's not a lot of adult items like t-shirts. If they even have any. Guess I should take a trip out the Tampa outlets to see it one last time.

Sorry if this has already been addressed elsewhere, but: has anyone heard any rumors about Disney offering extended evening hours at HS? We’re going in November and while the Epcot and MK extended hours are nice, HS is the park where I feel like we really need it, given the number of rides that have long lines there.

Nothing yet, neither AK or DHS have had evening magic hours for a few years. Hopefully they get something going forward but they moved toward after hours or early morning events more recently in lieu of evening magic hours.

Both of the Connecticut stores are slated to close.
If they are really switching to more online focus, I hope they make VAST improvements to the online shopping experience!!

I might expect three of these four to close since they are all within about an hour of each other, but to leave NOTHING in the Chicago area is surprising!

I didn't see anyone reply to this. I renewed my AP at the end of July and was able to do it online rather than calling. It took a bit of searching to find the right page but it was super easy and I didn't have to spend 3 hours on hold.

Ooh good to know! Mine isn't really a renewal though. It would really be a new purchase. Is that option still available online for those eligible to buy an AP? I easily could have missed it, didn't really spend a whole lot of time looking. I knew I should've just gone ahead and bought it when I called to make sure I was eligible to purchase a new one haha

Reminds me of the shows I grew up watching at Sea World Ohio! I’m very excited for this!

I was really young but I definitely remember the stunt show on the boats and jet-skis and the laser light show at night.
