Sister Wives

Oh Meri, since you agreed to the divorce, now you will have nothing. I wish you would have stayed legally married and then divorced. Groveling is not a good look for you, it's so pathetic. And the way she moves from laughter to tears in an instant, there is a whole lot of hurt going on. He is not worth even one tear.

Thinking about Ysabel last night, do you suppose she uses the "I want Daddy" to kind of keep her parents' marriage together and Kody around? Kids are pretty smart. Although if that was the plan, it didn't work.

New episode last night. Kody is ranting about 2 of his wives "traveling". Christine is taking care of HIS DAUGHTER's serious spinal issue. And Janel was helping out while HIS DAUGHTER had her own daughter's limb amputated. Just when I didn't think it was possible to hate him any more.

Ye of little faith.

Kody will always give something to us to hate him more.

And it's not Covid's fault. It's because he's an *** and has left the wives no other choice but to make decisions without him.

I just loved when he said, "We have a great relationship (Janelle) but she is jeopardizing our relationship."

Translation - Janelle stop having an opinion.

As for his this is not the agreement we had for our marriage, Kody it is normal for relationships to evolve.

I 100% get someone not wanting extra people tramping through their quarters all day long. But these aren't just "people". These are your sister wives and your communal kids

This is exactly what I have been squawking about - so strange.

I guess I got my answer to why none of the older kids seem remotely close to Meri - Remember that lady from our childhood who lived on the main floor. You know the one who made us put our boots on, and go out in the cold, to see our siblings. :rotfl2::bored:

I too thought she should have been in that basement apartment that Christine had. So interesting that she kept her dominant wifey spot with those 2 wives but gave it up for Robin. Very telling (since it must have been that Kody wanted it but didn't care with Janelle and Christine).

I think Meri thought she would be cherished by Kody to do what she did for Robyn and her kids - and it didn't happen.

And yes easy answer in Utah. Meri has one child. Choose a better spot in the house for everyone.

He didn’t need to be gone the entire 6 weeks.

Of course he didn't.

It was all ridiculously dramatic.

And now we hear that Robyn has a nanny who comes and goes?

Watching right now. The repeat. Have not got to that WTH moment yet.

I can not believe it. :sad2: Truly shocked.

I feel like Disney is saving a spot in the Villains parade for an Arizona martyr. She is something.

He basically ditched his former family to live out a normal monogamous marriage with queen eyebrows. Like he ran off from one family and abandoned them to just live the life with the chosen one.

Yep.

Fancy that not working.

All the kids have been seeing it for years.

The kids have been absolute soothsayers when it comes to dynamics.

I just finished this episode. Holy next week Batman. :rotfl2:

Looks like that was something that was kept under wraps and Christine was like let's introduce this little tidbit to the masses. :rotfl:

Are you going to turn into a bitter old housewife …… (like your mother)? Man, Kody’s an ***. At least he’s consistent. I can’t believe he said that to Ysabel.

So gross.
...that she’s not worth talking to every day.

Gross again.

All that time with a therapist. Could she not have taught Kody a simple concept?
Truthfulness has merit but sometimes you simply process your truths inside yourself and call it a day.

Not every thought needs to be shared. Sigh.

Or you know just some empathy and the importance of not being an insensitive a**.

I can't get over the nanny. Do you think the other wives were surprised? I barely remember the statement and didn't record it. About Janelle's kids, didn't she say that she had a rental apartment they could use? That could be a really great solution. Young adults can still live at home but have their own space.

I am thinking they were just not mentioning the nanny on camera and Christine said Hell no. Or at least I hope that is the scenario for a Go Christine moment.

Who knows. I can not get over it either.

But then again if they all are just finding out next episode - what an episode.

And yes with Janelle.

They’ve had a lot of therapy and you really can’t tell.

What Kody really meant to say to Ysabel was that I’m going to be totally neglectful of your needs and put mine first and I hope you won’t hold me accountable (like your mother does).

If they went with the apartment plan then Janelle would’ve had to maintain distance from the boys. And that’s not what she wanted. And I don’t blame her. After all these years I’m sure she knows she would’ve been foregoing regular contact with two people she loves and who love her for someone who might pop in for a little bit once every week or two.

Robyn's eyebrows are so comical and ugly. Just ugly. Why would someone draw them in like that?
Agree. I also don’t like Meri’s eyebrows. It’s like they are too long - longer than her actual eyes. They must have gotten a group discount on micro planing their eyebrows.
