I love credit cards so much! v6.0 - 2023 (see first page for add'l details)

Thanks for the help! I'm still feeling twitchy  I might hold off on the idea of a business card until I'm more confident (yes, I realize it's a really good deal, and ending soon... but clearly my anxiety outweighs my FOMO, and I can live with that ...)

But I do have another question... any military types on here know how the commissaries code for credit card categories? It occurred to me that for cards that do the rotating categories, that matters... I buy most of my groceries on-base...

i can only speak for Amex but DM's Hilton Amex codes as grocery---Amex is usually more strict than Visa/MC. If you're in doubt, perhaps do a small test purchase one week and then see how it codes and if it's positive (which I'm fairly sure it would be) then go ahead and use your desired card freely.

I'm looking at a long layover in DEN in July - anyone have insider Info on when the planned Capital One lounge will open? (C1 says 2023)
thanks!

Thinking about going for another CIU. I have a total of four Chase Ink cards and the last one was approved in late December so I'm pushing it. But I think worst case is I get rejected. My other plan is to go for the Chase Marriott card with 100k bonvoy points. Now that my process to liquidate Visa gift cards has gone awry, I'd really like another 90K URs:)

I keep telling myself to back off the Chase cards... I am holding a silly amount of them.. but UGH the FOMO is real! My last one was opened in October so timing is not an issue but I have a higher number of currently open Ink cards than any DP I've seen here.

What to do, what to do
Lol. We have the same dilemma!

Yesterday I got sent a Starbucks gift card for Employee Recognition day which I promptly posted on Raise. I am not a coffee drinker. What I clear should cover half of my annual haircut which I'm getting today:) And the haircut is necessary because I'm about to go to SW Florida for three weeks and don't want to listen to my mom's comments about how long my hair is! The younger dog has to go to the groomer next week for the same reason (no joke).

Are any of your Ink cards over a year old? If so, close them and problem solved. You now have room for more Inks. 😂

Should have added you to my same comment above. Any Inks you can cancel to free up a slot? I am also tempted by the 100k Marriott, but Ink is a better value.

That must have been a nice Starbucks card, haircuts costing what they do!

DH had an unplanned $3K car repair today. Fortunately we don't have to pay for 2 weeks (leaving for Hawaii tomorrow so they're holding the car until we get back)

We are both 5/24 for a few months. Any suggestions for a new card? I just got a card but DH can get one. He has AMEX Plat and Gold.

Bank of America's Alaska Airlines Biz card is currently on an elevated offer of 70k miles/4k MSR (6k to earn Companion Pass on account anniversary).

American Express has the following elevated offers right now:

Delta Biz Plat: 95k/4k
Delta Biz Gold: 75k/3k
Hilton Honors Biz: 165k/5k
Marriott Bonvoy Biz: 125k/5k

Do it! I have 5 inks and one SW Biz card + 5 personal cards

Same, same! I'm so tempted to go for another one, but my last one was mid-Jan so I'm definitely pushing it. If worst case is getting rejected, I would go for it but I'm fearful of shutdown because I'm also floating about $10k. I was really hoping the bonus would last through April. I have summer camp expenses that would knock off the spend easily...

No inside knowledge but I’ve been waiting for the Capital One lounge to open at Dulles in DC all of 2022. When I opened my Venture X at the end of 2021, both the Denver and DC location were supposed to open in 2022. I check for updates, but there doesn’t seem to be any.
