We tried to use loaded offer on Mastercard at Dollarama and the clerks hadn’t even heard of Air Miles.

You do NOT use anything other than your Mastercard after you've linked it - simply pay with your card, there's nothing else to do. You do NOT show your Airmiles card, you do NOT use a coupon. Use the website to link your Airmiles number to your Mastercard and shop at Dollarama the same as usual.

Here's how my most recent MasterCard bill posted to my account - I'm not exactly sure what the summer promo thing is- so many things to mess my brain up but thought others might like to see how it appears. I know the 3x is from either Shell or Metro and the 2x comes from Zehrs (I was too tired to crop out my metro miles!!)

The Summer promo is the extra that you get for shopping at AM stores. It's the extra AMs per $25 ($12 if your card is elite) spend bonus that goes until the end of August. It was on till the end of August I believe but I could be wrong with that.
You are so right, it's all so very confusing.
I know this because I was confused and called MC as well as AMs to find out where the bonus was and how it would be posted.

Yes every month you should see 5X Summer bonus in your account. It's only for partners of airmiles charged to your card. I seem to get around 30-40 extra miles every month for it so far.

This time last year, I was in the thick of planning our November/December trip. I wish we were going back again. Likely never again a sole WDW vacation, but more like a day or two added into a Universal mega trip. I still have two non-expiring tickets that I have to use. *sigh*

I still have an 8 day, non-expiring, Canadian residence ticket. I can't imagine when that will ever get used. We had stopped going to WDW and switched to Universal. Went back to WDW in Feb. because it was a family trip which included a 7 yo who wanted to meet Mickey and will be back in a few weeks for DHs big birthday but that is for less than a week. 8 days just no longer seems doable.

I attached my second AMs card number to my PC Optimum MC and made a purchase at Dollarama with it. Wasn't sure how it would work because my optimum points is attached to it. I received the 10 AMs for using it. I might use it for the weekend bonus as well because why not?? If I make 2 purchases of $30 gift cards and am going to get a 500 AM return, that's pretty good. It would be a $52 return on a $60 purchase if it works.

LOL....I realized this morning that I only had to spend $10 at Dollarama to get the weekend 100 miles. I spent $31. I did spend $16 on stuff and then could not make the other $15 so I grabbed a Tim's gift card. Now we wait.

1 airmile at Shell= 100 AM ...........................Done
1 Airmile cardlink =100 AM probably do Dollarama .............................Done McDonald GC $30
link card to Mastercard = 100 AM .....................DONE
1 Airmiles through the airmileshop.ca =100 .................................Done Staples online kitchen garbage bags x3 just need to pick them up in the store.

500 Airmiles
plus 300 Airmiles this Friday.

Has anyone else seen this new promo pop up - Air Miles Receipts? I'm in New Brunswick for vacation and changed my location. Then this popped up this morning. Seems like Checkout 51 but to earn AMs.

While we both wish it could be THAT soon -- unfortunately the pile of poop involves a system that's going live at the moment. He won't be "free" until late October/November, we both just need a carrot to help get over the hump. We're already actively planning our Feb trip so he must be wanting to escape.

Maybe I will mention it to him .......
ETA, just checked prices for flights, NO WAY

It's a new promotion that they will eventually be rolling out across the country. It is just in the maritimes for now.

I just looked at DD offers and she has a bunch of those 100 mile offers too. I tried to do the airmilesshops one last night as it was the last day but in the end I couldn't make that work. Somehow when I'm on the spot like that I can't think of anything that I need....well a few things come to mind but not for $20. I'm going to go back later today and look at the offers again and actually figure out which ones I can easily do.
