What happens if you add a gift card to a Target Circle offer?

I ask because I have the $10 off a $60 order and then a $20 reward for 2 $70 purchases. If I add a $10 gift card (or actually prepaid phone card) with $60 of merchandise, would I still get credit for the offer? Or does the presence of an ineligible item invalidate the whole thing?

No, you should be good to go, just be sure your Reward offer is shown during checkout and $60 merchandise is sold by Target.

If you add a gift card to the Offer, $10 off $60 it won't work.
But you should still get $10 off the merchandise when stacking.

So today a $20 reward after 3 qualifying purchases of $70 popped up on one Target account, but nothing on the other account. It expires in 17 days on Feb 21. Looks like a few $25 and $50 DGC's purchases are in my future.

Hmm, I don't think Target requires you to use a Redcard on any offer. I have to admit, I had the Redcard exclusive 5% offer but didn't use it. Out of curiosity did anyone use that offer with a different CC?

It came off when paying with a gc. I don't even have a red card any more and still get the offers. No idea if it's worked with a cc, can't remember and I try and use gc at target.

So does that mean you can use a total of 10 gift cards or only 9 gift cards on a single purchase?

As someone currently in the same boat as you were, its nice to see you (finally) got a resolution!

It seems DGC guest services might be learning a bit, having to process all these DGC issues from Costco: after I sent them an email with my issue and their requested follow-up info (DGC details, order number and PDF of the order confirmation) their final reply was that they forwarded the information to Costco customer service (took 10 days to get here).

I've also been emailing with Costco support while I waited for DGC guest services to reply so will be interesting to see if they see that or if I wind up with two Costco support cases

Last update I have from my emails with Costco support was them asking me if I was the one who transferred the balance off the card they issued me to which I said.. "no! that's why I'm here!"

Costco is offering me a refund for the card that had the balance transferred somewhere else. While I'm happy there is some resolution and I'm not out any money, I am a bummed to lose the 10% savings plus the return with clawback the Chase points I earned from the purchase which was 5% for warehouse club purchases in December

It definitely stinks but at least look for the positives and that is the refund is much larger than 15%. Just stay on this thread and more opportunities will come your way.

Same, I use Target gc and if I don't have enough then I'll use Redcard to cover.
