Feel me kicking myself???? Robin and I made this big grownup responsible decision not to rebook because our kids can't go next year. So now we are negotiating with Ken to keep the kids and we canshare a room. Blast our sensible selves, I miss you guys!

Yeah, you need to go. I did that same thing on my first cruise. I was no sooner off the ship and I was regretting not rebooking. From now on I will always rebook (adding the deposit into my trip budget). You guys need to come with us next year:banana:

I did the same thing after our Wonder cruise. I'm glad we rebooked onboard this time even if we're not going until 2009. I figure it'll end up saving us around $5-600.

I f anyone is interested i posted a trip report on the trip report forum this afternoon.
It is not very exciting , but there are lots of photos.

A little something for Brantley ...

BEST LAWYER STORY OF THE YEAR, DECADE AND PROBABLY THE CENTURY

Charlotte, North Carolina. A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire.

Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars and without yet having made even his first premium payment on the policy the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company. In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires."

The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.

The lawyer sued, and WON!

(Stay with me.)

Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from the company, which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable fire" and was obligated to pay the claim.

Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars lost in the "fires".

NOW FOR THE BEST PART.

After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him
Arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!!

With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.

This is a true story and was the First Place winner in the recent
Criminal Lawyers Award Contest.

ONLY IN AMERICA!

NO WONDER THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES THINK WE'RE NUTS

This thread is being neglected now that we have both the 08 and the 09. I propose that we shut it down before Jan. 2. One last thing to keep up with! :-)

I'm sad to say that I agree with Jeff. The thread of 2007 was a great one, many posts, many great laughs (most directed at my mom :lmao: )

But I too agree that we should all move on over to the 08/09 boards (there's an 09 board?)
I'm gonna have to change my startup tab :scared: :hourglass

- Josh

I agree to, just remember if you have any stories to pictures from this trip to post them on the 08 even if your not coming along with us.

we still welcome you chatting with us!!!

So this thread is officially closed and we ask everyone to move to the 08 and 09 boards to chat, even if your not cruising then, please come and chat with your old crusing buddies:love:

Kathy

It's official...
And with that, I pay my last post on this thread, from now on, I'll be on the 08 boards.

Until then,

Josh :wave2:

Please join the Nana Heads on our upcoming cruise threads!!!
