OK, so we just got back from our 10 night stay yesterday and I am already missing the planning. We are going back September 2011 so let the countdown begin. Pretty sad but I am already counting down until I can book the trip next August.

No problem! I know exactly how you feel. I was where you were not too long ago. As far as the parks and crowds. We were there for the past 10 days. The first half was great and less than 15 minute waits everywhere we went. As the week went on and on the weekend it got more crowded. The wait times were still low for most things but there were some attractions with 30-50 minute waits.

We have stayed only at POP but for our next trip we are thinking about trying French Quarter mainly for its size. I don't know if spending the extra money for the moderate is worth it though since we are the type of people to be at the parks from opening to closing. Any thoughts?

My husband and I are going by ourselves on both of the next trips, we could stay at any of the resorts, but have decided to stay at POP. We have stayed at others, but we really can't see spending the money if we don't want to.

I've never stayed at a Value Resort before, but I've stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. Stayed on the mansion side as well as alligator bayou. It's an awesome hotel !! French Quarter has a fantastic themed pool and you can walk along the river between the two hotels. Both have a great counter service area but Riverside has Boatwrights which is a nice sit down. ( they do terrific breakfast) also, you can take a boat to Downtown Disney, which is terrific to do at night. I definately think it's worth the extra money, but only you know your budget. The whole New Orleans theme is terrifc at both of these .......I hope this helps a little !

We just spent 10 days at WDW this past June to celebrate our oldest (18) high school graduation and our youngest (3) 3rd birthday! I miss WDW terribly, but DH says that we can't go back until our youngest is in school! He starts kindergarten in 2011 and we are going to surpise he and our middle child for Halloween!! Our oldest has been there to celebrate, but the youngest two have not! It is my DH and I's favorite time to go!! I am going to keep this a secret from them until we get on the plane! I suprised my DD with a mommy and me trip a couple of years ago and she wants to be suprised again! I'm sure it will be worth it!!

We are suprising the youngest two with a cruise for Christmas this year....not Disney but it will be fun anyway. Our oldest has enlisted in the Army and leaves in early November.

I guess I should officially start a new countdown timer.....just over two years to go....I should be able to figure out costumes for the party by then!!
