The WiFi in the parks is spotty at times. With my cellphone, I have always been able to use the app. Sometimes, I have to shut off the wifi and just use the data plan (not as fast as wifi) , other times, the wifi works just fine.

I always use the app, but I have unlimited data so I don't bother with the park wifi. Occasionally the kiosks can be helpful, but usually it's better and faster on your phone.

I have a tablet but feel it's probably too big and bulky to carry around, and going to a locker for it would be the same difference as going to a kiosk. I remember back in 2013 when everyone was using a tablet to record MSEP though. Between our phones we should be ok. Thanks for the responses
