Anyone able to sneak a peak at BCV’s?

I just walked through the third floor. No signs of refurb. Only work right now is in the villas lobby area leading to the quiet pool. They’ve finished the right side and are now working (painting?) on the left.

Any pictures of the room you would share?

We are in 566 and it has a very large balcony. But the elevator noise is too much for us so we are switching rooms. Balconies on floor 4 & 5 are generally small. Whereas second floor studio balconies are generally large.
I've yet to figure out any pattern to balcony size at BCV. In 25+ stays (It's my favorite resort), I've had tiny balconies on some rooms on the fourth floor, and other times I've had huge balconies on the same floor. About 2 months ago, I stayed in a second floor room where I couldn't get onto my balcony well, yet a few years ago, I had a balcony that was good for a party of about 30!

Hi! This is room 448. It’s a one bedroom that is part of a lock off based on the connecting door I see. There’s two balconies which aren’t connected leading from the bedroom and the living room, we could see some of the Epcot ball and fireworks over the trees as well as the road. My pictures aren’t very polished but happy to answer any questions you (or others) may have. Excuse the towels and mess please. 😅

View from bedroom balcony, fits two chairs and a table, and the living room balcony is the same. 780CC1AC-1FFE-4E64-9C3A-ED329C5DA000.jpeg

The bedroom has USB outlets on the bedside tables and the dresser. There’s no door to separate the bedroom from the bathroom area but there is separation of the toilet (in it’s own little room) and the living area. There’s actually a lot of doors that lead to the shower… sometimes I got confused and the space felt a little tight when all the doors were pointed inwards!

To be continued - have run out of room for pictures (I guess there’s a 10 pic limit).

The kitchen area has a table with bench to eat at, as well as a little bar area with two chairs. Real plates / cutlery / glassware. No frying pan but we didn’t need it. Has a toaster, full fridge, freezer, and I took a pic of the coffee/tea set up.

Frying pan wasn't in the drawer under the oven? Had you needed it a request to housekeeping would have taken care of it.

Thanks for all the pictures, greatly appreciated. :flower1:

We just returned last night in 1 bedroom #358 and our room looked just like yours minus the murphy bed. Pullout couch (didn't use it) looked really bad with stains, etc. 1st time staying on the DVC side at BC.

Yes, it's a soft goods refurb so while they should be painting and changing any carpet/curtains etc you won't notice that much. The obvious biggest difference is adding the murphy beds.

I’m actually surprised that Murphy beds are part of soft refurbs in WDW. I ain’t complaining. It’s just they didn’t do it for Aulani in 2021.

Our room definitely needs painting. Also noticed elevators look really bad
