Anyone here get married in Vegas?

my dad just got married at little church of the west a couple of weeks ago. they had some major issues with them that they were not happy about (mostly about the video package). if you need more detail, just ask!

also, my fiance and i toured 11 venues last june for our october 2013 wedding. we are currently undecided on getting married in vegas or in my home state of michigan. but i posted reviews of my tours on the vegas message board i belong to. my username is the same, so you could just look up my post by username. the type of venues we were interested in were not on the strip and were not chapels (or as i call them wedding assembly lines). also, that vegas message board has a forum for vegas weddings.

good luck!

Just got back from my sister's wedding. The Flamingo casino left a really terrible impression, but the wedding was lovely. They shut down the pool at 6 and we had a sunset ceremony in front of the waterfall. They layed out a red carpet with pillar candles along the sides and two large flower sprays. My sister and I each had rose and mum bouquets, and the groomsmen had boutineers. There were also flowers for the parents. The ceremony was about 15 minutes long, and was webcast and filmed, they received a dvd copy as well as an hour of pictures with the photographer after the ceremony. Her total cost was around $2500, but did not include hair/make up. If you would like to get your hair and make up done, my suggestion is to NOT NOT NOT use the salon in the Flamingo, it was completely craptastic. In fact, even though the rooms facing the strip had a great view, I wouldn't stay at that hotel period.

I will be getting married in LV next fall...but only because I'm a local. We are doing a golf course wedding...are you thinking of something on the strip or bigger?

Wife and I got married in 2010 at the chapel at the las Vegas Hilton. Our package was $325 which included flowers and photos. The minister and his wife which run the chapel at the hotel are very wonderful people. It was the best time there. We had 7 guests at our wedding. Just a real relaxed nice place to ave a wedding

DH and I got married in April 2008 at the Little White Wedding Chapel. Then, our whole group went to Battista's Hole in the Wall (family style Italian restaurant) for dinner after. Everything was fantastic!

Whats a great choice I just love Battista, you even get free complementary whine. There food is some of the best I have ever eaten and good price also. If anyone wants to try it out its right behind the Flamingo, ya cant miss it
