Hey everyone!
I'm trying to decide when to plan our first WDW trip for. My oldest will be in middle school next year and I want to minimize her days out of school. So, I'm looking at the various school breaks.
We live in the Pacific Northwest, so weather is also a big factor for us. We melt in the heat! (I know we can't really escape it, but I want to try to pick one of the "less hot" times.)
Our main school break options are Spring break (the first week of April), Summer, or Christmas break. I'm fairly certain Summer is out for us due to weather. I'm not sure we would have a successful trip if we tried then, which leaves Spring Break and Christmas.
Spring Break means a shorter trip, especially if we decide not to skip any days of school. I hear Christmas is super crowded and we won't be able to go until 2019 which has the added SWGE crowds. But, the weather is cooler, we can stay longer, and we could see all the Holiday stuff.
So, between weather, crowds, and length of visit, is one a better option than the other? (While it would be awesome to see SWGE, the other factors are more important.) Is there another time of year that I'm overlooking?
