Quick question, it might sound stupid, but i still need to know! If we purchase points from our dad, does it still go through Disney’s ROFR??

Yes. Even gratuitous transfers must go through ROFR.

However, they are very nice about granting waivers when the title transfer is a gift to family members. A gifted contract also retain perk entitlements if the contract qualified for them prior to the transfer.

If it's not a gift, then the usual procedures apply.

So how does it work, exactly, if Disney were to take a gratuitous transfer contract in ROFR?

Don't think they could, you would have to be granted a gratuitous transfer which lets you skip rofr.

They don't. The result of the ROFR process is that they waive their right. You need a waiver to proceed with any title transfer.
