After what seemed like forever, my latest resale was successfully completed, and my 2024 ressies have been made.
I'm still a little disappointed in the title company delays, yet very happy with the deal, and glad it's over.
So, just for grins, I peeled back through this thread and grabbed the first 15 posts that had made it completely from Offer to Points-in-accounts.
The data is depicted in the attached chart.
I only plotted the Total Duration & the ROFR Duration.
Average Total Days = 49.6 Low=31 High=73
Average ROFR Days = 11 Low=6 High=19

Wow, that chart took some effort. It is always less stressful to know how long things are going to take to finish the process and it nice to see ROFR passing reflect what is "normal" time right now.

Was told my closing is going to be 4/25, do I have to do anything..be on phone, etc? Or do they just do the closing behind the scenes & just let me know when it’s complete? I’m not really getting any updates except when I call which is about every 3-4 days. I’m trying really hard not to be a PITA coz I know they’re busy..but really want to know what’s going on, lol

For me, the title company on the date I closed just sent an email telling me the sale was finalized and that they notified Disney of the change of ownership.
My deed should show up within 1-3 days on the comptroller site.
My closing was on a Friday around 12:00pm, so I saw the deed on the next business day-Monday afternoon.

I am sitting at 44 days (deed recorded Monday). It’s nice to plot yourself against that graph. Though I think I could have shaved a week off that if I knew then what I know now.

im getting so antsy! i see some people as fast as 7 days after deed being recorded to contract showing on membership! i'm only at 3 days, i know it says it can take up to 30, but im dying over here! our direct points for 2023 are pretty much gone already and these new poly resale points are burning a hole in my pocket!

I feel your pain!
The irony of the quickest ROFR time ever, but longer times through all the other gates. I missed my 11Mo. Mark by a couple weeks, and had to do a split stay at BWV using more points than I wanted to.

This company worked so fast, it only took 36 days and that includes waiting over a week for the sellers to sign. Not to mention they didn’t have any comments about my lowball offer, which was accepted the same day I sent it.
