I am very excited to add a little pixie dust to your trip to Disney. Here are a few guidelines to help ensure we are all happy during this process.
Please remember I am a person, not a computer. I have a life outside the DISboard. Always read the top of the thread in bold - EVEN IF YOU POSTED THE DAY BEFORE . I will let you know if I am out of town, I have sick kids, or something is going on to hinder my ability to DISign.
To ensure your request is filled, please give me 3-4 weeks advanced notice.
Please keep your number of requests below 10. If you have more than 10 requests, please start your own thread, and I will try to contribute.
I make mistakes, so always double check as soon as possible for typos.
In most cases, if you see a layout you like I can completely change the message. If you want a specific layout please let me know (write the file name found below the image or copy the link); otherwise, you will get whatever I can grab easily or maybe something new. My files are NOT organized by jpg. If you don't see what you are looking for, just ask.
Please try to be as clear and specific as possible to avoid unnecessary redos.
If you have already posted the request on another DISigner's thread or on your own thread, please DO NOT DUPLICATE the request on my thread. Working on a request someone else has already completed takes the joy out of DISigning.
Please no shirt or magnet DISign requests.
All autograph covers are 5x7. I will make 8x8, but you will need to specify this size in your request.
Please save your DISigns to your computer quickly. To save photobucket storage I will delete your DISign(s).
For directions on how to download, personalize or resize DISigns please read post #98.
Once you post a request, I rarely revisit the actual post. If you need to change your request please edit the original post and post a new post letting me know that post #____ has been edited.
I really appreciate "Thank You" messages once the DISign is posted. This isn't because I need the affirmation, but because I like to know that you actually used the DISign.
It is helpful to know...
- if this is a first trip or returning trip
- when you leave for your trip, so I can prioritize
- the age of the person receiving the DISign
- the gender of the person receiving the DISign (it isn't always obvious to me)
- if you want a specific character/theme
I DISign because I want to add a little more magic to your trip. Remember, you will have a wonderful time at Disney as long as you relax and enjoy the planning process. Don't lose sleep or get upset over the small stuff like letter, luggage tags, bag toppers, ect...
