Last day in SF. Disney Family Museum was beyond awesome! I opened and closed the museum! How does one only spend 2-4 hours there? More later on that. Oh, Kevin....you would be so jealous of the NY WF hour video! I was in heaven!

Off to Muir Woods and the Wharf / Embarcadero area today. Weather has been warm and unusually sunny, though today is foggy and drizzly. Hope to be able to see GG Bridge if it clears later today!

BSM was awesome as usual!

Home tomorrow night and then will sift through photos, etc this weekend.

Glad you're having a blast Karen! We loved the Disney Family Museum and could have spent hours and hours more there.

Muir Woods was amazing, but the drive in was honestly the most terrifying part of the trip! Seriously, it's a twisty, turny road, down the side of a mountain with no guard rail. And in one spot the road has crumbled away so it does down to one lane. I pretty much cried driving in on that road.

And this was after our drive from LA to SFO along Hwy 1. I spent most of that trip quietly hating John and Kevin for talking about that trip on the Podcast and making me think it was a good idea. Oh... and you know... trying not to panic about driving into the Pacific Ocean.

I should say, these were both beautiful trips and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world - experiencing the kind of nature that takes your breath away!

I swear, for a week after that I got nervous about the drainage ditches on the side of the road being too steep.

I just tried to see the pictures. No luck. I keep reminding myself that the card says 10 days after the end of your adventure. We're not there yet - it just seems like years.

Anyone want to have a reunion at the GKTW meet in Newark, Delaware? November 7-9. Dave and I will be there. I'm guessing it's too long a trip for almost all of our group, but maybe John and Kevin will come up.
