Disney Wonder

How was the boarding process in Vancouver? We are leaving out of Vancouver on 9/23. Have heard mixed reviews concerning embarkation. Some said it was like any other port, and some say it is horrible...mass confusion
May be determined by where you are from and where you are coming from.

We experienced a lot of walking. Long, long distances, lots and lots of walking. One time customs slowed down the process to an agonizing speed and other times customs and Immigration simply waved everyone through coming and going.

It's enough of a coin toss that we'll avoid Vancouver departures in the future.

Wife has a Swiss passport that until recently was a golden pass to anyplace. Green lights and breeze through all immigrations and customs.
Now,, not so much, and one of the least desirable to have.

So all kinds of reasons, people have all kinds of experiences and opinions..

We are cruising out of San Diego on Friday and I believe the cruise is sold out.
Late post by me but check out time at our Hotel was 11 AM and we weren't going to board until 3. Just a short walk of about 100 yards to the ship in San Diego. It's nice.

So killing time at the sidewalk bistro across the street from the ship we noticed several attempts to steal peoples luggage and backpacks with thieves.
It's bad there so heads up.
The bad guys are good at it and very desperate.
