DVC site points in error?

Since my AKV points were added to my information at the DVC member site, my points there are mixed up. I called member services today and their records are correct for 2006 through 2008. But online, the points are "off" one year. Online reflect my 2007 points as 2008, 2008 as 2009, etc. This is obvious because I had to borrow 2008 points for a family reunion trip planned for December 2007. The borrowed points are showing under my October 2009 UY (which wouldn't even be possible for a December 2007 stay.)

The CM didn't know anything about the website having issues with points being incorrect but he said he'd pass that information on. I'm more comforted knowing the info that the CMs see is actually correct.

Inkmahm, same thing is showing with my points.
The CM was clueless and not very helpful when I called about it.
Said she would send a note to technology.
I will call again tomorrow if it still is inaccurate.
Someone who isn't paying much attention could loose points!

Here's a hint. Click on the detail. While the summary page was wrong when I went to the detail the points were there so I don't think I am in risk of losing the points. It looks like it's just a web issues.

(Also, no one there on Saturday can fix this which is why I am emailing!)

But the records that MS uses were correct for me. Just the web page summary seems to be incorrect.

Ah, you're right. The problem is our BWV contract where we've borrowed points from 2008 for our 2007 family reunion vacation. In the detail it shows correctly as 2008 borrowed points. In the summary, it shows as 2009 points have been borrowed.

I am having this same problem with mine online also. I have called DVC MS 2 times in the past couple weeks about this but still no one has fixed it or gotten back to me about it. Are there many others who are having this same issue?

My points summary was all messed up too once our AKL points were added. I went into the detail page and found the correct figures so that was somewhat reassuring...

I did contact Member Services about this (via e-mail). I received a very nice response saying that the tech people were aware of the issue and were "working on it." This was a couple of weeks ago, though. She further mentioned that their records showed the correct points amounts in each UY.

Glad to see I'm not alone! It's not a huge issue, but it is something I would like to see fixed.

It has been reported in some threads that there is a software bug in the program that reads the data for the website for people who have added AKV. Member Services has the points correct in their system, and the bug self corrects after you reach the start of your use year. So I hope that is the problem for you all.

Thanks for the info! Both times I called MS they didn't even tell me this much. They had no clue about it. Glad to hear it should fix itself..... just will be awhile if I have to wait until my Dec UY
