A little catching up:
- I somehow shook off my funk from the week and got in my 8 miles on Saturday and 11 miles on Sunday. The 11 miles were tough and I had to adjust some things, but I got it done.
- Monday was a rest day, but I got in some Yoga in the morning before work.
- Today was supposed to be 5 miles, but they were doing some stuff to the roads by my house and it messed up my run. I got in 4.25 miles. Better than nothing.
Race update:
- Well I signed up for the Oregon Women's Half Marathon last night. Check.
- And I booked my flight to Portland. Check.
- I am flying Spirit and can only bring a backpack with me. But the flight was only $90!!! I can survive with minimal packing for that price.
Other stuff:
- We decided to add on a day to our California trip. I fly in from Portland at 8am on October 8th and we are going to leave directly from there and go to San Diego.
- We got free tickets into Sea World because I am a Veteran, but now that I am calculating it out, we are only going to be able to spend 4 hours at Sea World if traffic agrees with us. YIKES. Fingers crossed.
- Now I am stressing about being packed for our California trip before my Oregon trip because I am the QUEEN of procrastination.
- Parenting has been pretty hard the past few days. UGH.
