Fried cheese curds

Aioli IS mayonnaise, it's just the French word for it. It can have a thinner consistency if it's homemade. People do put other stuff in it--garlic aioli is popular, or the horseradish you mentioned. Toss in a few herbs, and you're closing in on ranch dressing or dip, which can have a base of sour cream, buttermilk, mayo, etc. (depending on the flavor/consistency you're looking for--dips tend to be thicker than dressings).
Aioli doesn't necessarily have egg. Mayonnaise is also a French word.

Really? Never engaged in the ever popular Sheetz vs Wawa debate then? Haha
I've never been to a Wawa, it sounds like a baby asking for a sippy cup.

You all need to start frequenting places with more sophisticated monikers, like Stuckey's or Yabba's Wacky Snack Shack.

It’s a native word for a Canada goose. That’s their logo.

Our Logo: "Wawa" is a Native American word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley over 100 years ago. Our original Dairy farm was built on land located in a rural section of Pennsylvania called Wawa. That's why we use the goose on Wawa's corporate logo.

"Aioli" in America usually has a mayo base, but Aioli is not mayonnaise.

Aioli is technically an emulsion made with JUST olive oil and garlic. It is French in origin, but is popular in Spain and Italy as well. You can make your own with fresh garlic, high quality olive oil and an immersion blender.
