Our family has booked 4 different room types: (1) Preferred, (2) King, (3) Woods view 5th sleeper and (4) standard. Obviously we all want to be near each other. Is there a way this can be achieved? The reservations are "linked" but I'm not sure if that will make a difference. I appreciate your comments and suggestions.

#2, 3 & 4 can be in the same building. #1 & 2 can be in the same building. But I don’t think you can do all four room types in one building. You could probably get two buildings next to each other if the room request fairies are smiling down on you. It might help to look at building/room maps at portOrleans.org to get a better sense of what is where. Good luck!

Your best bet would be to get two buildings next to each other. We traveled with my sister last May and she received a free upgrade to a preferred building while we had a 5th sleeper woods view room. Our buildings were next to each other, and it worked out great. They obviously noticed that our reservations were linked when they put us near each other. :)

The preferred and standard are going to be in different buildings just based on the definition of the room categories. Same with preferred and woods view. If being near each other is what's more important, it might be worth calling Disney to see if you can change your reservations all to two types of rooms.

I would contact Disney and have them put it in the reservation notes. We had such a note and still had to go to the front desk to work it out.
