How far of a drive is if from HHI to WDW?

Just wondering about the amount of time it will take to drive from HHI to WDW? Has anyone done it? Just trying to decide if I should go to HHI as a stop over on my way from NJ to WDW.

We drove from OKW to HH last week. It took 4H 45 mins. It is doable in about 5 hours- we had no traffic on a Sunday. It's mostly interstate- all but the last 30 minutes into HH.

We live in Bucks County, PA and have made this drive several times. We have relatives who live in Hilton Head. It is a 12 hour drive from PA to Hilton Head. We usually do it in one day. We then spend 1-2 nights in Hilton Head. The drive from Hilton Head to WDW is 5 hrs. Any further questions, do not hesitate to ask!

OKW is our home and we are stopping at HHI for the first time on our way back from WDW in October ... any suggestions for good places to eat?

HH has over 300 restaurants on the island, so dining options are plentiful.

There are about 6 restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the resort and many more a short drive away. Some offer DVC discounts also. We enjoy Scott's, The Harbourmaster, and Giuseppi's nearby. Other include Old Oyster Factory, Hudson's, Cafe Europa among others.

DisneyPoly is exactly on with his/her times. We are also in Bucks County, Pa. and it is 12 to HH and 5 from HH to WDW. Have a great time - HH is terrific. We usually stop at HH on the way home from WDW just as a way to relax from the hectic pace of the parks, etc.
