poor little fellow he must feel aweful-lets hope the antibiotics help-and yes if it is a virus-which it could be-the antibiotics wont help much-but sounds like the tissue is inflammed and may be starting to get infected-so then it will help-and wont hurt the situation

Tracy!! It's just so nice to see you-sorry to hear about no cable situation-that is such a bummer!!!! Come back soon!!!!
yep, he has been through a lot....with the iv and other needles....I am so glad that there are people dedicated like you to take care of our kids :grouphug: It wasn't easy on him (or my DSis) when they were working on him....I know I have a hard time when my kids need stiches/glue. :guilty:

I called again....still waiting to hear what the specialist says. :hourglass

Thanks...one nurse said he looked like he had a certain disease, but my Mom said that my DSis had him checked for that by an expert years ago and he doesn't have all the symptoms...so they don't think it is that. huh....hopefully something starts to work :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I wonder what disease she thought-Lyphoma/Mumps-Let's just hope these new antibiotics work soon-it is so hard to see them suffer with no idea why-but it's a mystery to the doctors too-wish we all came with a data port so we could get the immed diagnosis and attention :thumbsup2 then it would be so easy-hang in there Lyn-hopefully soon it will be over and he'll be back home playing :wizard: :grouphug:

man it just got black outside-and the wind is kicking up-hope we don't get hit too hard with this storm-kids will be home soon(15min) looks like they're going to get soaked-here starts the thunder

They thought about Kawasaki disease...he has had high fever and node problems a few times in the past. During one of those episodes my Mom said DSis had a "pioneer" doctor in this disease look at him and he said DNew didn't have it. One nurse also told them that it is good that his neck thing hurts....that it is when they are "silent" that you really worry...so hopefully that means he has a treatable-temporary thing going on.

We had one of those today. VERY VERY BAD but quick moving.
we had one while I was at work last night-lightning hit a big crane right next to our building nearly shook the kids out of their beds :p

plus then an announcement came over the air and said if you parked in the middle rows of the parking structure please move them before they become flooded-guess who had to go move her car :thumbsup2 -it was such a downpour-people who've worked here for years never heard of such an anouncement
