I think because our weddings are so close together I am getting excited for you :cool1:

You know what...I'm equally as excited for you...I really hope we run into each other while we're there...who knows maybe we could all grab a pint at Raglan one night! ;)

Well, I just got off the phone with Rosie. What a whirlwind! I thought I knew exactly what I wanted but now I've got all these other ideas swimming around my brain!! I'm so worried about my budget and I think what Rosie and I discussed is going to come to about $500 more than I planned!:scared1: At any rate...this is the bouquet I send her to go from.

I really want the burgundy calla lilies with some greenery. She and I talked about using holiday greenery. I like the idea since it's a December wedding but I just don't know how it would look with the callas. She also mentioned crystals. I thought it sounded nice but honestly have no idea what they look like! lol. My bridesmaids will have white calla lilies with burgundy spray roses. And we'll have a unity arrangement to match. We also discussed a memorial candle. Rosie suggested a single candle adorned with a rose for each of the loved ones I have recently lost. I like the idea but I also liked the idea of having a column with my mom's Mickey ears and a small photo or candle so she has a 'place' there. My oldest son was going to lay a yellow rose (her favorite) on the column after he entered the WP. I guess I'll have to decide. Other than that (and the guys, flowergirl, and parents flowers) we discussed the aisle decorations. I really wanted something along the aisle but didn't want to spend too much. She suggested columns with fabric topped with globed candles and burgundy rose petals. They would run about $25/each and we'd put 4 on each side. It sounded good too me! :thumbsup2 Still I fear the final cost of this...and that's not even including adding Mickey to our cake cutting!! EEK!!!! I guess I'll officially flip (or cut back) when she gives me the prices!

I have also recently asked my aunt to be a bridesmaid...she cried for like 10 minutes! I am so happy she's going to be up there with me that day. I also asked one of my other aunts (my mom's youngest sister) to be acting mother of the bride. She was so touched and I can't think of a better way to honor my mom! Joe asked his brother to stand up with him so now he has his brother and best friend with him! I'm so happy we decided to add to the wedding party.

After that I decided to hop on ebay and see if I could find another great deal on a BM dress. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw another Alfred Angelo ‘wine’ colored dress on ebay…AND…it was my aunts size!! What are the odds?? It’s a different style but I’m okay with that. I bid on it and won the dress for $16!!! Now all my BM’s have to do is pay for alterations! Here’s a kind of crummy photo of the dress.

Joe picked out his tuxes too. At first he chose a really nifty looking zootux. I really liked it but I guess he worried too much about it being ‘non-traditional’…like anything else is traditional…whatever. So here’s the look he chose…it’s nice too.

The shoes I have chosen:

And I’m trying to decide between these two unity candles:

There are a lot of other cute fairy tale candles but the more I looked the harder it got to decide, lol! Now I need to choose between the more elegant candle that I will display in my home afterward or the beautiful fairy tale themed candle which captures our theme of a fairy tale wedding!

Okay…so that’s it…for now!! ;)

Thank you so much!! :goodvibes HAHAHA about the models! :rotfl: I did the dress your party thing on the David's Bridal website and then cropped the pic. You should have seen the ringbearers!!! :lmao:

I love your bouquet Diane, it is absolutely stunning. I can't believe you managed to get your other BM dress for $16, what a bargain. Don't ya just love ebay lol. Your shoes are awesome as well, wish I could wear something like that, I have spent my life in pumps or sneakers and I would break my neck wearing heels.

We definitely need to try and meet up. I don't know what your schedule is like but we can talk some later and try and get a time and date suitable for all of us.

That sounds great!! We plan to go to PI on the 18th. Sharon, I know that's your wedding day so you probbaly will not want that. But...we also plan to go to the boardwalk on Thurs, the 20th. Maybe we could all try to eat dinner together at Big River (they don't take ADR) or we could try to get together at Jellyrolls! Anyway...I like the idea...let's do it! :thumbsup2

We will be at MK on the 19th but I don't think we have anything other than christmas shopping planned on the 20th so meeting you at Boardwalk for dinner would be excellent ;)

Hi Guys - so sorry for the delay in responding - I had a dinner to go to last night and am still sleeping ( at work :rotfl: )

so, looking at what we have planned ( making ADR's on the 13th!) - we were going to Animal Kingdom and eating at Yak & Yeti - however, we can meet up with you guys at the Boardwalk for coffee, dessert, a drink - whatever!

let me know:goodvibes

Sounds good! Have you guys ever been to a piano bar? I've never gone to Jellyrolls but I used to wok at a piano bar at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Ft Lauderdale.
I also went to one at the NY NY in vegas and they are soooo much fun!! I hear Jellyrolls gets kind of crowded but maybe we could squeeze in there? At any rate, whatever we do, it will be nice to meet you ladies! Oh and Michelle...isn't it funny how we wait to make those ADR's...I've got mine all scheduled out and just waiting for the 18th to call!!!

:rotfl: poor me - I have to call TWICE to make my ADR's!! first call on the 13th for the first 3 days and then I have to call on the 19th for my 12/16-12/20 reservations! I love the idea of the piano bar - we have never been. The 19th is my birthday and we are going home on the 21st so I can't think of a better way to end our disneymoon than by meeting you guys and toasting to all our future's!

Aw that's so nice Michelle. We are so looking forward to meeting all you Disney Brides and Grooms as well :thumbsup2 . I told DF about it all on the way home from work tonight and he is up for it, he says 'as long as they don't turn out to be another Jo'. Long story, the short of it was I met a lady on an Orlando website and we arranged to meet whilst we were over on vacation and she turned out to be a complete nutter lol! I can laugh now but it wasn't funny at the time :scared1:
