It's a lot of fun to begin with!! MK closes early at 7pm to all but P&PP ticket holders, actually you can get in at4pm .They give you a treasure bag when you enter the park. At 7pm the party begins there are treasure spots all over the park. Special shows and activities and a parade and fireworks. The rides are almost walk on. You can dress up or you don't have to!!

Just your party tickets but the party tickets won't get you into the park until after 4pm.

Last September I averred that I would never, never go to DW again in that hot month, free food or not. Did not sign up for the bouceback or anything;

Well, here I am again and possibly will be making my very first solo trip. Having been married since I was potty trained and being of the biddable type (stop laughing now, you have only known me these last few rebellious years) I have not strayed beyond the bounds of being the "Happy Housewife" and "Dutiful Mom" so this is a foreign notion to me. Exciting and a bit scary, sort of like ME!!!!


Anywho, here is your warning. I will be at POP from 08/30 thru 09/13. I am abandoning my beloved Sports to spend time with the wild women of the Mojito Monkey tribe. Someone has to hold the bail money so I am elected.

Disney Jo, do you plan things like this? Did I forget to use my deodorant or mouthwash??? I promise to behave. Ooops, probably better to promise to 'mis' behave with you!!!

Truth is that if I do get to go alone I do not want to plan much of anything. My entire life is planned, all around what my family wants/needs, and I am just plain burned out.

I plan to sleep until I wake up, eat only when I am hungry and what I want, and only do nice things for nice folks.

If I should meet any grouchy, nasty folks (unlikely) I will give them my home address and tell them to go there. If I find myself enjoying myself too much I may wander over and file and application and just stay there.

If you cannot dream at DW where can a gal dream???

englishrose47, I am glad to hear that. Since I have not been alone since the womb it should be interesting.

Since I have never bored myself one tiny bit in all these many decades I figure that I will do fine by my lonesome and will likely meet up with some very interesting and wonderful folks along the way. Just have to watch out for my tendency to not be able to say no to much of anyone or I will be as scheduled there as here.

If only I had a couple of English gals to accompany me. I have become addicted to British Magazines and now that I have Netflix I am watching every old Brit TV show I can find. I loved "Duchess of Duke Street" and "Waiting for God". The great thing about the English is that they not only have characters but they celebrate them!! Maybe I should move???
