As reported in Mouseears:

"On June 14, the California Grill began a new check-in procedure for their dining guests. Guests will now check in at a podium located on the second floor of the Contemporary Resort.

A Cast Member will then escort guests with Priority Seating, or those guests wishing to enjoy the California Grill lounge, to an elevator reserved only for California Grill diners."

Hopefully this will help guests, who have PS, to view "Wishes" without being cramped by the "gate crashers" on the verrandha.

Yipee!!!:hyper:

This is very interesting.

I think it's a great idea. There are many who ignore their policy and sneak up there just to watch the fireworks.

Maybe you should post this on the Theme Park Board too as it is info on viewing Wishes...

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting this. We have a PS for California Grill for Aug. 10 (our anniversary). I wouldn't have known to check in on the second floor!

Acording to the e-mail I received from Disneytravelagents.com, you still can.

Guests with Priority Seating or those wishing to enjoy the California Grill lounge, will be escorted by a California Grill Cast Member in an elevator exclusively reserved for California Grill diners.
