We are using Mason and passed ROFR on 5/11 and got our closing docs yesterday, 5/17. Still faster than the other company when we sold earlier this month.

Marcelo has been handling the DVC files along with Cammy for quite some time. If you scroll back a few pages, you'll see he's every bit as fast and once in awhile he's actually better at answering emails. I just don’t think he does as much DVC and therefore isn’t as well known as Cammy.

Marcelo has been handling the DVC files along with Cammy for quite some time. If you scroll back a few pages, you'll see he's every bit as fast and once in awhile he's actually better at answering emails. I just don’t think he does as much DVC and therefore isn’t as well known as Cammy.

All I know is that when she was there, buyers received closing docs in a day or 2 but it is currently taking around 5-7 days.
I wasn’t trying to imply that he is bad, just that people should expect to wait longer.

I was just pointing out he’s not the “new guy” in case people think they’re getting saddled with someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. My guess is it’s taking longer because he’s having to do her work as well now.

We are using Mason and passed ROFR on 5/11 and got our closing docs yesterday, 5/17. Still faster than the other company when we sold earlier this month.

We were ready to wait patiently for 30 days since we are using the “other” company. We have no trips planned until next year so we are really not in much of a rush. We passed ROFR on the 8th and was expecting the closing docs sometime in June since they are much slower.

We were shocked when we got all the closing docs today.

Very good point. They may not have filled her position yet so he is doing 2 peoples jobs.

Nope. From what I have read here, Cammy is no longer with mason and the new guy isn’t nearly as fast. I probably won’t see anything till the middle of next week.

We passed right of first refusal 5/16 and got closing docs yesterday for BRV from Marcelo at Mason.
If it makes a difference, we passed for the first refusal the same day from our OKW but haven't received closing docs yet. Two different brokers, so that may contribute to the time.
Either way, it's really fast compared to other companies so I'm happy and patient.

Signing closing documents and remembered that my drivers license is expired. They let me fly with it in April, so will they let me complete this contract with it

Def worried now

There have been reports of CMs allowing a one-time exception to banking when you're past your banking window. So they can always try that. No guarantee it will work, but as someone already mentioned, you would have to redo the paperwork and restart ROFR if they are successful.

Good luck! We were at 3 weeks with our VGC contract for ROFR. Just sent in our closing docs and now waiting for closing.
