Hello all!

Just getting an early feel as to who will be joining us on the September 4th Disney Magic Eastern Cruise!

I know Rae will be with us! Who else?!

I'll wait a little while before I start the official September 4th Disney Magic Cruise List site! :)

Jason

Hey........I was just going to start a list! You read my mind!

Add me to the list! I'm on with ya. :smooth: I CAN'T WAIT!

What Cat. are you in? (just wanted to see if we would be on the same floor!)

Travis

Travis--

Glad to see that we have company! I have heard, through the Dis Board grapevine, that you wouldn't show yourself for Andy!

At any rate, it's cool to see that you're onboard. We'll be starting a September 4th Disney Cruise List site at some point in the future and we hope that many will send in their pics/info.

Our August 16th site did well. You can check it out here August 16th Disney Cruise List

As of right now, we're in Category 11 on Deck 7.

Talk to you soon! :D

Hahahaha...well I tried, I went to his room a few times but no luck!:p (and i'm also very shy around people I don't know) :)

Next cruise I promise you will meet me! ;) :)

See you soon!!

Hold him to that promise Jason, he's a sly one, he! he!

We didn't spend a whole lot of time in our cabin, we were always up and about doing something, you should have left a note on our fish, that you were around, you little stinker, he! he! My DW really wanted to meet you, she heard so much about you. By the end of the cruise, she thought you were just a figment of my imagination!!!

DW and I will be celebrating our 5th anniversary on the September 4, 2004 cruise! Look forward to meeting the other DIS'ers.

Congratulations on 5 years Dr. P! Glad to see that you've decided to celebrate in style on the Magic! :)

Is this your first DCL cruise?

Jason

Just thought I'd say hello! I figured Momma-Rae would jump all over this thread!:bounce:

We've only been back two weeks and now I'm wishing it was Sept 4 2004!

I just sent Momma Rae an e-mail with this thread attached, I'm sure she will jump on the band wagon soon. Momma Rae and Michael are probably out riding their horses this morning!!!

We'll be there Travis...looking forward to San Juan!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello boys! Thanks for starting this thread! I wish I was out riding as Andy had suggested!!! Let's say that housework is overrated and leave it at that!!!

Okay, so who is on the cruise with me for next year - right now it's me and Tom, but that could change and it be Mom and Michael.
Just not quite sure but hey, I'll be there regardless!!!

So we are going to Puerto Rico - Disney diverted us there last fall during Hurricane Lili - what can I tell you.....

The entrance to the harbor is very beautiful since the fort sits on the left side as we enter. The harbor itself isn't much - there is a small mall there where you can get your rum cheap!

Mom only wanted to go gamble her $20 away so we didn't do very much there. I got Michael to come off the ship but he wasn't very interested so it was a short trip to look around and say he was there.

They do have a tour to the Rum Factory - this time I'm in for that one. I also heard a few other tours were very good. I will look for my information and get back with you on that.

My only birth child - Christopher will be 23 on Monday, September 8. We are going down to Indy to be with him tomorrow - first to Mass at St. Michael's Church then to dinner. Should be interesting to see where he chooses to dine. At least I know it won't be cheap or fast food!

I'm homeschooling Michael with Seton Catholic Home School Program - 2nd grade. It's been a wonderful 1st Quarter with him -challenging work for him and easy lesson plans for me. Plus the horses are his incentive to get his work done and have a good attitude during his "class time"!

As for my other sons, Jason and Travis - could a Mom be any prouder than I am with those two?! Heavens, you only have to meet them to love them! Two incredible intelligent and good looking guys - and again, I can't take the credit or tax break for either!!!

So here we go on our adventure - me and whomever else comes along that is!!!!

Rae

Hey Rae! At least this time you will be prepared for PR! I remember watching the fort with you as we pulled into the harbor. We will be sailing a month after you (Oct 2004) going to Antiuga. :bounce:

This will be our second Disney Cruise. DW, DSD, and I went on the 7/19 Western and had a great time (we took nearly three weeks going there, going on the cruise, and going home--it was quite a vacation). Can't wait for next September!

Momma-Rae!

Glad to hear from you! It seems that you'll be the all-knowing island guide for the cruisers on the September 4th voyage seeing as how you're experienced with this part of the world! It's probably a good thing, as I tend to get lost easily! (I'll have to tell you about my trip to Lakeland someday.)

We'll be putting up the cruise list site for the September 4th cruise soon. We'll even have our very own domain this time around! ( ThreeCircles.net ) :)

Best wishes to you and Christopher on the special day tomorrow! He's a very lucky guy! :)

Jason

Good morning!

Hey, Mary - can you give us some ideas about what you and the group did in Puerto Rico - since all I can comment on is how Mom lost some money at the casino?!!! Sure would appreciate it.
Yes, it was so nice to have that time with you as we came into Port. I really enjoyed being with you and the rest of the Octoberfest Cruisers!! Give them all my best!!

What! My sons are going to have their own domain! WOW! Makes a Momma proud! We had a nice time with Christopher and his fiance Natalie yesterday - she showed us her wedding dress, etc. Things have improved dramatically since last year for all of us in that regard. Thank God!

I'm going to go over to the Octoberfrest cruisers (RellingTwin's group) and ask them to jump over here to give us any PR suggestions for excursions.

Rae

Hi Rae, Other twin checking in! LOL We did the snorkle excusion at PR last year. It was a long bus ride, (about an hour) then checking in at the boat, getting our gear, and then going out to the snorkle site. So it was well over 2 hours from check-in on the ship, to getting wet. The trip info said snacks, soft drinks and beer would be provided. There was a bowl of chips/nut mix and some sodas on the snorkle boat, after we started back to the dock. No beer, and we were HUNGRY! Chips just didn't cut it. Our Disney guide was wonderful!!! I think his name was Luigi. The snorkle part was very good. We saw a lot of beautiful coral. Not a huge amount of fish but enough. The water was beautiful, warm and clear. We got some great underwater pics. On the way back to the ship I kind of dozed off, I think a lot of people did. I think considering that Disney had about 24 hours to put it together, it was a very good trip. If that had been a scheduled port and prepaid excusion, I would have been disappointed. Why? Because it took so long to get to the marina and back. Also the "snack and bev" was not what I expected. If I had known, I would have brought some sandwiches, drinks, and beer from the ship. Hope this helps. Have a great time! Just under 5 weeks for us to do it again.
