Taking seeds from UK to USA

Hi Folks,

Someone asked me the following question but not 100% sure of the answer so hoping someone may know or at least point me in the right direction.

My Aunt has asked me to take some packets of seeds ,apparently she cant get seeds to grow red lobelias .So am I allowed to take these into the country and do I need to declare it on the customs form ?

Check the Defra website and see what the regulations are - I think its OK if they're certified disease-free, but do check before you go. Google "defra export regulations"
