Hello everyone! I'm starting the 'I've Been In A Disney Show' club! Post the show at Disney you've been in, and pictures if you have any...

...if you have never been in a show, but have pictures of others being in a show, post that here too! All are welcome! :thumbsup2

Ok... I'll start:

DH and I were in the pre-show of the Backlot Tour, on the boat (on the left), cleaning it with the towels. This was on December 11th (or 12th) of 2008. We didn't have any pictures take though... so if anyone has any from around this time, I'd love to see if it's us!!

Last April, I was picked for the same Backlot greenscreen Preshow. I was the same trusty deckmate, swabbing the deck with the rags and pointing out the enemy bombers at 2 o'clock! Yes, running around in histerics. Incoming!!!:rotfl2: My 18DS was the stalwart captain of the ship. DW got video and photos, so there's no denying our acting abilities. :lmao: What a laugh, we had a great time.

I have a few more - will share later.

Been the Beast twice in Belle's Story Time (2 different years). Instant hero with DD. Second time DD was also picked to be Lumiere (sp).

Guess I have "Beastly" qualities :lmao:

Other than the look on DD's face, best part is getting to dance with Belle :woohoo:

This brings up great sadness on my part, as the show I was in most frequently did not allow photos or video. It was tradition for DH and I to be chosen at Superstar Television to do a role in the Golden Girls. He also played a detective solo once for Golden Girls and was Tim on Home Improvement while I was Ethel on Lucy. Ah, those were the days!

I got to be in the Indy stunt show back in 2005 for my 21st bday trip.

I recently got to help Director Fooey in his "I'd like my steak medium rare" scene on Sunset Blvd at DHS.

Before "Sounds Dangerous" with Drew Carey, they had the Monster Sound Show I think it was called. It was the one with Chevy Chase and Martin Short. I was on my honeymoon and I got to use all the "tools" to make sounds for the show. It was awesome! I remember that every time I go to Disney and pass that area.

My Dh and I were in that show, before the kiddies, great fun!
And on our last trip, DS7 was chosen for Jedi Training, it made his life (so far):goodvibes
and here's a pic of him "in training"

Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. This was our first time in and we had no idea what to expect. I was 'chosen' to play the part of Randall - the slimy, chameloen-like, dissappearing monster. I made good use of ducking out of camera range to 'disappear'.:thumbsup2 We all enjoyed the show!

In November my DH was chosen to be Sulli at Monsters Inc. He was great too!

Also in November my grandpa was in the Indiana Jones show, he's a huge ham so it was perfect for him. And my 3 girls were picked in the velcro show (can't remember the name), but they loved that.

Years ago they had a thing where Jay Leno would interview you, and I got to do that. I had forgoten about it till not that long ago when we were watching old home movies.

OK, so not really in a show, but last time we were chosen to be the faimly of the day at the American Adventure. We were escorted upstairs and watched the performance of the Voices of Liberty from above overlooking the rotunda. Awesome acoustics! The were led intot he theatre ahead of everone andtold to choose anyseat we would like. Of course, we chose center/center. The at the beginnig of the show, our family was announced to the audience as the Guest Family of the Day. We were also given a certificate commemorating the day! All for just being one of the first guests into the building and asking a few questions. We were approached a few minutes later as we were checking out the exhibits. Our little piece of magic for the day! :wizard:

Back a long time ago, they had a Dick Tracy store in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

They would pick kids and teens out of the audience, dress them up, and have them act out Dick Tracy scenes.

I was 5 years old, and I got picked to be Dick Tracy's sidekick. I have the hat and giganticly oversized trench coat on.

I still have the video which is pretty amusing since my reading skills weren't skilled enough to read off the cue card. The lady running the event was German, and you can hear her accent as she reads me what to say from off camera. Hee. DH gets a real kick out of that video.

For the Backlot Tour I was the boat captain and my dad was the poor engineer. I don't think he knew what was coming but I did.

When I was in high school, my friend and I were picked to be in the Backlot Tour show. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the theme of the show was at that point, but I do remember that the suspenders that held up the pants portion of the rain suit came undone and my rain pants fell down which caused my entire bottom half to get soaked during the finale. On the same day, I was chosen to play a detective on "Golden Girls" in Superstar Television.

On a non-Disney related side note, on that same trip, I was chosen to participate in the Alfred Hitchcock show at Universal Studios that no longer exists.

In 2007, I got to go up on stage for the Flights of Wonder show at AK..they wanted someone with a digital camera or a camcorder..they did this real cool thing with a giant owl where it flew across the theatre and landed in back of us..So neat! The wind those huge wings generate is pretty cool. I also got a certificate from it(this was during YOAMD):thumbsup2

Back in '98 my son was picked to be the Texas Ranger at the Hoop-Dee-Doo. He was also picked to assist the mime in France (a few years later). DH got to participate in the Shamu show at SW (I know not a Disney show...but I was super jealous of that one!).

My family and I were the four people picked to be on the boat at the Backlot Tour.

My dad was a monster in the Monster Sound Show

My dad also made it to the hot seat on Millionaire. He lost on the 500,000 point question. We were sooo close to a cruise!

I don't have pictures of any of this. Monster and Millionaire didn't allow it and we were all on the Backlot so there was no one left to take a picture! I wish now that I had snuck a picture of Millionaire. That was the highlight of our trip. He won a baseball hat and a lanyard and pin for every question he got right. He wore it the rest of the trip and got compliments all day. Some people even recognized him days later!

My family has a knack of being choosen at Hoop De Doo. I was the Can Can Girl in 1987 on our honeymoon. Several years later, my dad was the Indian and this past Christmas, my DH was the bald guy that Dolly takes a liking to. Boy did our kids (ok, young adults at 17 and 20) get a KICK out of THAT!!! I WISH I had pictures!

I do have an old, ancient, Polaroid of when I was the Can Can Girl but I sure don't know where it is right now!

i was the mechanic at the backlot tour...

Just this past February, while we were in the Japan pavilion in the World Showcase, we stopped to watch the Japanese story teller lady. We were enjoying her banter and her lesson on some Japanese words when she started her story about a young fisherman who saved a sea turtle. She pulled a teenage boy from the other side of the crowd for that part....and he was pretty funny...he really go into it. She gets to the part about how the sea turtle was so grateful he took him down to an underwater palace...and a beautiful princess....and she walks right over to *ME* and grabs my hand, pulling me into the story. :rotfl2: I was mortified, but did my best. Unfortunately (or fortunately, maybe?) I had the camera in my bag..so dh didn't take any pictures. Awwwww...lol. And he didn't think about his cell phone..teehee. I got a button saying "Honorary World Showcase Player" and she told me to wear it and it would guarantee that I wouldn't get dragged into any more shows, lol.

My fil also got pulled into a show in the England pavilion years ago...dh is starting to wonder why no one picks him...lol.

On our first trip back in 1998, on the backlot tour they had a stage where it was themed to the live version of 101 dalmations. They picked someone to "ride" a bicycle in front of a green screen who had to duck, turn, etc at the right moments and then they played it back. I got to wear the tweed jacket and hat and be that person. It was fun because it wasn't a speaking part. I have pictures, but would have to scan them in.
