I loved our verandah. Coffee, cigarettes, books, quiet time....wonderful. My DH wasn't with us last time, but come next 2/14 he will be. Hey I think I'll give this Verandah Club thing a shot! And the Surial Bath, too!!

Do you feel like you are missing out on happenings on top of the ship?

If you're cabin is on decks 8 through 5, I'd say there are more activities taking place below you rather than above...

Hi,

we just cruised 8/16 and had a verandah.

I absolutely loved it. Like so many others I had my coffee there in the morning, happy hour with cheese each day and a night cap each night.

We saw many a beautiful sunset and many sea creatures.

Giant sea turtle, dolphins etc....

We were hesitant about the extra $$$ but.... and I do not think I could go back to a regular room at this point. Well..maybe for a 3 or 4 day cruise but a 7 day.

Had one the first cruise (didn't do the "Veranda Thing" though, DW wouldn't go for it). The next cruise was an inside cabin and we really liked it. From now on we are saving our money for other DCL things (and doing the "Inside Cabin Thing"!)
