Weather in Bahamas/CC?

What is going on with the weather forecast for Nassau and CC? We sail on the Magic 10/6, and there are thunderstorms everyday?

Weather forecasts get less accurate as you get further away and are virtually worthless more than 7 days out. You are looking at nearly two weeks. And as far as a forecast of thunderstorms, it wouldn't mean it is going to rain all day every day. It storms in the Bahamas, sometimes a quick one blows through, sometimes you get plenty. It certainly doesn't mean anything is "going on", it's weather on islands in the ocean.

Florida and the Bahamas generally show rain every day this time of year. Usually it's just brief showers in the afternoon and then it clears right up.

Weather was beautiful this past weekend (9/24/17). Sunny skies no rain but they did cancel some of the activities like parasailing due to the breeze.

This is the rainy season in the Bahamas. (It's also hurricane season, of course.) So you're going to see forecasts of regular rain. The dry season in the Bahamas lasts from winter through early spring.

That said, I agree with a PP that specific forecasts tend to be inaccurate a week or more in advance. Check back a few days before your trip to get a better idea of what the weather will really be like. Also, thunderstorms don't tend to last all day in this region, but rather for just a few hours at a time.

I don't know, but at this point it's just a forecast. You know, the Bahamas have had worse weather this hurricane season.

A beautiful sunny day on this past Tuesday at CC. Clear blue skies and warm temps in the mid 80's. Not too humid.
