Saturday 24th - We got a taxi to Discovery Cove, it cost $30 plus tip. We had our complimentary entry photo taken then went for breakfast. We went to get our wetsuits and snorkels then found a great spot in the middle of the park where we could watch the dolphins, it was also close to the bar/food area and the toilets! We went to the aviary first to feed the birds, we read that it's best to go early so they're still hungry but there were quite a lot of people there. We went in the lazy river, it's 8ft deep in certain places!
We went to relax on our sun beds, reading and having a few drinks, it was nice to not be unending around he parks. Then we went to swim with the stingrays which was my favourite bit although the water is cold. I was a bit panicky though when swimming over the really deep sections so I stayed near the entrance mainly. I took some photos with the waterproof disposable camera I bought from Sainsbury's for £7.50, you can buy them at DC for $19.99.
We went swimming over at the lazy river section and saw the marmosets and otters too before going for lunch. I had the teriyaki chicken and Tom had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, both were good.
We went to relax again but then a huge thu dear storm came so everyone had to get out of the water. We both went for a shower and waited for the lightening to stop before leaving. We did enjoy DC and I'm glad we went but we wouldn't want to go every year.
We caught the free shuttle to SeaWorld then got the lynx 50. The original plan was to get off at DTD for some dinner at WPE but we weren't hungry so we got off a TTC and took the monorail to MK. We hired a locker for all our stuff which was $12 but you get $5 back when you return the key.
We had an amazing night at MK, we went on space mountain, toy story, then Splash mountain. Just as we were getting to the last section of splash mountain before the big drop, the ride got stuck! We were waiting a while before they sent CM's to rescue everyone. We had to climb off and then walk off the ride, it was actually quite fun having a behind the scenes tour! We saw out the back where they keep the parade floats too. We got a free FP for any ride at MK to use before the 31st.
We quickly grabbed some food at Peco Bills before going to our preferred viewing FP for the electrical parade. They section off a large area right in front of the castle, it was great! We also had preferred viewing for Wishes at the Rose Garden. I loved the light show on the castle, I thought that was amazing. Wishes was amazing too and tinker bell flew over our heads
