What Rate Did You Get for a Rental Car This Oct. (Late)

We're planning an Oct 18 - 27 in 2018, I know it's early but I always book as soon as I get a good rate then cancel and re-book if something better comes along. This Nov 2 to 11 we got a mid-size from Dollar for $197.00, one week and 3 days. So far for our Oct 2018 time frame the rates are double that or more, what was your experience for last month?

We got an economy with Alamo for $127 for a week. Ended up with a mid-size car but that was just luck of the draw (or lot so to speak).

I had a mid size SUV from Alamo (thru Costco) for $198. My trip was Oct 18-24.
