Whats your major?

BBA majoring in finance and business law. I am considering going to law school after my undergraduate degree is complete, and I have always had an interest in finance and financial markets. :)

I am a recreation major. I originally chose it because I wanted to work for a cruise line. But after doing the CP, now I hope to work for Disney full-time once I graduate.

I'm an elementary education and English major. I chose education because I love working with kids and I've always wanted to be a teacher. As for the English part? Well, we're required to have a second major with education, and it was basically a process of elimination of what I DIDN'T want my second major to be. I love the education part, but if I had to choose all over, I would probably pick something other than English.

Communication sciences and disorders (speech therapy)
I chose it because I've always wanted to work with kids, but I don't want to be a teacher (my mom's a teacher and having seen what she goes through on a daily basis I had no desire to do that). I had thought about being a doctor, but I'm not a huge fan of science (AP Bio kicked my butt), and don't want to spend that kind of time in school. Someone mentioned speech therapy to me, so I decided to check that out, and I decided I like it, and that that's what I want to do with my life

My major is Communications with a emphasis in Mass Media and my minor is Marketing- hoping to get into Promotion Director. I got into it because I've always wanted to get into the radio industry or the music industry somehow. And in my radio class we had to create a radio station and each of us had a role and I was Promotion Director and fell in love with it!

I actually just graduated about 5 days ago, but my major was Spanish and a minor in International Studies. I was actually going to major in Biology because I love genetics, but I decided I didn't want to live in a lab for the rest of my life. I'm much more of a people person and I also love learning about different cultures. I loved Spanish in high school and decided to care it on through college and I also ended up learning Italian and French as well!

I havent choosen a specific major yet although i am in the business college.... i would like to work my up the ranks at WDW and be at least a manager, if anyone has a good major suggestion while responding to the original question i would be happy to hear it.

A "manger"? Wouldn't that be Theology with an early Christianity emphasis? Or is that livestock nutrition?

I majored in registration for several years. Then got my Athletic Training Bachelor's dergree from Boise State. I'm now working on my Physician Assistant Degree.

I got my BAS (Bachelors of Administrative Studies- concentrated field Human Resource Managment). Last year I graduated with my MHRM (Master of Human Resources Management). I currently work for Time Inc. as a Human Resource Analyst.

llazykllamas: I see you went to BSU that's where I go :) Good to see someone on here that goes there haha!

I am majoring in architecture... well, for many reasons, but the main one right now is that I hope to be an imagineer :wizard: ::MickeyMo

^I'm sure that major grew on you...

Parks, Recreation, Tourism Mangement with tourism concentration and a minor in business. I don't know what I'll do, but I'll prolly stay with Disney for a few years.

I picked it b/c I didn't want to sit in an office all day. I'd rather explore.

Civil engineering. I want to use it to get a degree in architecture. (which is after I get my masters of buisness of course) I want to be a tripple threat so Disney has no choice but to hire me someday...lol :rotfl:

I'm a Fashion Design/Pattern Drafting major, with a specialization in costume design. Because I love it, and I want to work for Cirque Du Soleil, but I’m not so much into gymnastics or any of the other cool things the performers do.

DisneyDude, I have no clue yet, lol. Thats still about 3 years down the road at this point. The only place I've considered is RISD, in Providence. I figure its close and while I attend class I can work for the Rhode Island DOT or something boring like that. Any schools you could recomend?

My name is Kaitlin. I love Disney and have been to WDW 12+ times. I just finished my freshman year. I am a psychology major. I chose psychology because I love kids and want to make a difference in the lives of kids with chronic illnesses.

After I graduate, I would like to work with kids and teens in the hospital as a Child Life Specialist. Child Life Specialists try to make a stay in the hospital as normal as possible. They do this by providing crafts, games, therapeutic play, special events, and other fun activities.

Anyone else here interested in working with kids as a career?
Take care,
Kaitlin
