Where to park??

On our upcoming trip in December, we are staying the first part of our trip off site. We want to spend one day (most likely Dec 27) doing "non park" disney things. DH doesn't like to drive any more than necessary when on vacation so we thought we could use Disney transportation for this too. I am just not sure where to park. Since this is a very busy time we wanted to be sure that we don't have problems with parking. We want to visit monorail resort, DD, DQ, to to Fort Wilderness, etc. Would it be best to park at TTC and use monorail, buses from there or to go to DD and park?? It is well worth the $6 parking for us if that would actually be the best place to start and finish.
Thanks for all opinions

It depends what order you're doing things.
1) Will your offsite hotel shuttle drop you off at TTC and pick you up by DD?
2) Drive to TTC, use Disney transportation (monorail, boat) to tour monrail resorts, WL, Fort Wildnerness. Then drive to DD for DD, PI and DQ.
3) You could park by DD then take a bus to a monorail resort but moving your car once will be easier.

Anyone else have a suggestion or opinion?
We have not decided exactly which to do when but think we would like to eat lunch at Trail's End so probably resorts in am and DTD in pm.

I'd park at the TTC in the morning. When you are ready to to DTD, go back and get your car and park there.

It might mean an extra three miles of driving, but sure beats having to go back to the TTC as the parks are emptying or when you are tired.
