Hey Diane how are you doing Pal???
And I don't even want to think about her and Mickey in a steamy car! Can you imagine a big white glove slapping the window??
Morning everyone!!!!!
been under the weather - so I haven't been posting much (apologies)- but I have been stopping in here and there to try to stay caught up a bit!!!
going to go ketch up the rest of the way!!!!
Holy Toledo.....this thread sure has grown since January!! I just thought I would take a look to see what you have been talking about. I didn't realize what I was getting into. I am glad to see this group is getting organized, I now have a lot of stuff to think about! We are not sure yet if we will be flying in 1 or 2 days before the cruise but I for sure don't want to fly in the day of! HoJo's sounds like it's the place to be....I hope there is still room for me! <-----unintentional rhyme! That is it for now, looks like I will be checking this post daily from now on for updates.
Has anyone done any research on excursions yet?
Last night I couldn't have typed if I had wanted to. He ended up giving me a shot of cortisone in the wrist for now, and said to do "absolutely nothing" with that hand for a month, until I see him again. Apparently, everything that the general orthopedic surgeon had done for the last 4 months was wrong. There had been a crack in the bone, and there's a tear in the tendon. Hopefully, the cortisone will take the inflammation down enough to help the tendon heal without having to have surgery.
After the numbing stuff (maybe novacaine?) wore off late yesterday afternoon, I was in so much pain I was cross-eyed. He said it could be 3 days of that pain, but today is much better, so by tomorrow it should (I hope!) be really good. I have no idea how I'll handle some of the rides where I have to really hang on. Of course, DH said "Just don't go on them". Yeah, right!
So any posts from here on out will be short ones.......
Spring arrives in just"8" hours!!!

Lorri -
that sounds like fun!!! I want to see this movie so bad, but I can't convince my DD that it won't be too scary ( and scary hasn't bothered her that much in the past - go figure! ) I even had free passes to Saturdays preview that I ended up giving to a neighbor.....oh well...sounds like a fun time - no Rainn Wilson, huh? I like him.

In this poem it talks about spring being the time the Robins sing....
I know our Robins looked mighty Pi$$ed at all the snow we had friday night.
We still have some of it around but it'll be gone eventually... (We hope )
Aw Stace I hope the docs finally have you in the right direction for getting this taken care of.
As for the rides, we're hands up roller coaster freaks so we never hang on anyway. And we haven't fallen out yet, so you should be fine.
The one I'm thinking about needing to hang on the most is the Indiana Jones ride. I'll be "up in the air" on the coasters, too.
Off topic, Off color, Off everything post, be forewarned. Those with a particularly sensitive consititution should not read on....
Well, if something short of the plane crashing happens, it may have perks:
Woman upgraded after dying in coach
Woman upgraded after dying in economy during flight from Delhi to London

LONDON - A passenger in first class woke up to a shock when he found himself sitting near a corpse on a British Airways flight, British newspapers reported on Monday.
Paul Trinder, 54, said cabin crew moved the body of the elderly woman from the economy section where she had died after take-off, the Mirror and Sun tabloids said.
"The corpse was strapped into the seat but because of turbulence it kept slipping down on to the floor," Trinder, a businessman, was quoted as saying. "It was horrific. The body had to be wedged in place with lots of pillows."
The woman's daughter was also upgraded and spent the rest of the nine-hour flight from Delhi to London grieving next to her dead mother, the Sun reported.
The Guardian newspaper said the incident happened last week.
British Airways has apologized for any distress suffered, according to the reports. The Mirror quoted BA as saying: "We apologize, but our crew were working in difficult circumstances and chose the option they thought would cause least disruption."

My DDs Katie (6yo) and Christa (8) enjoyed it and there's nothing really scary in it. I actually think Christa enjoyed it more because the plot might be a little much for a 6yo, but Katie was on the edge of her seat at the end. They gave away little "Mimzy" keychains and my DDs were talking to them after the movie .
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well! Hope you're back to your old self soon!
No sn*w here, so we've started to see the robins.
You know when it is spring when you smell that first skunk. You don't smell them all winter and once spring comes, they're out to stay.
I read this. At first I thought it was a joke. Now I am so glad that I cannot afford a first class ticket. Economy/Coach does have its advantages!!!!
