actually- Ive been know to flash as I have my "hot flashes", but I will contain myself considering the Pope and Her Majesty are sooo close.. and the kids!!

I have decided that I WILL NOT have a hot flash on this trip!!!!!!!

What beach do you go to....we have a house in Bethany Beach DE!!

Has anyone been in the Spa Villas? We have one booked but we're wondering if it's worth the money? We have some extra spending money since we downgraded to CAT 12 but hate to waste it.

We did couples Spa Villa....I think it was about $600 with tip. It was wonderful, once. I do not think I will ever do it again.

DH and I just talked about it and we are thinking of taking Lilly with us! We downgraded to a Cat 12 and saved $3000. so we could afford to bring her. We checked and there is still room on our flights. Now we have to decide if we are going to leave this as our special anniversary trip or bring her with us and make it a family trip. DECISIONS!!!
Our son (15)has already said he doesn't want to go because he goes to PCC camp for 6 weeks and would rather do that than go with us.
We'll talk aobut it and decide later tonight.

I think its neat that wireless internet is available. My sister is bringing her laptop. Wonder if she'll let me use it. But I think I will be far too busy to use it.

Do we know how much it is if we use a laptop in the cabin? What if my kids use the internet computers from DCL - I remember the 7 night cruise was $80 something for unlimited. What is the price for the 11 N.?

I don't know if they can survive without it for two weeks.

They have gotten rid of unlimited......so now you pay by the minute.

We really like 2nd dining and have never felt too hungry to wait. I feel more comfortable with it this cruise because we can change from our excursion clothes and don't have to rush.

Gretchen did well in her dance competition today....she had two proformances and got two gold medals (platinum sp?) is the best, but those are far and few between.

She has three dances tomorrow, but spread out all day....

HI Sandra!!! First I want to say that whatever decision you make will be the right one. I truly believe that major decisions like this are somewhat made for us by the higher power! I really believe in that fate thing!
But if you-decide to bring DD- know that she will have company all the time. There are 3 or 4 other 12-13 DD's alone from just this thread, which is how I came to find it. Having an only child is difficult sometimes on trips, which is why I guess we always go to Disney.
My daughter is a great kid- kind, generous, funny- I love her to pieces!!! So, it is my hope, she will have other kids to go off with, and we have some quiet time, although my husband , a retired NYC police Sgt. is very over-protective and cautious. So, they will all be in good hands.
So, follow your heart- she will be fine at home, and she will have all of us on the cruise!

Does anyone have an idea as to how many young adults are aboard around our DD's age - turning 21 on this cruise. She loved the Teen-club when she was younger and felt very disappointed after she turned 18 and had nothing available to meet other's her age. We were on the Eastbound Panama and after mentioning the situation to the Cruise Director, he discussed the situation with her and the 'College Club" a venue and time for 18-25's to meet was born and was very successful ..... wonder if it's still going? As this is her celebration cruise too we'd really like to make sure she has a good time!

If you get post # 200 or 700 or any ending in 00, then that is a pirate.

The major pirates are 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 etc.....

Wow - that's great ... We were a little concerned that there wouldn't be many around her age .... She'll be on her own with us, as I said she'll be turning 21 on this cruise and will be gratuating this year too on July 18th in London.
