Hi Everyone! I've been lurking - not much to say lately. I am really ready for some warm caribbean sunshine about now, or any warm sunshine for that matter! We are getting excited! We'll be getting our ressies for our DL car trip , making our final payment on our cruise and getting plane tics this month! DS is hoping for a quick tax return so they can finish theirs, and get DGS his passport! 9 Manfulls dancing!

Hey All. I have been out of communication for a couple months now. I booked this cruise as sort of a reservation holder with my on board re-booking discount.

Looks like it is hugely popular. Guess I will keep it.

Since I checked yesterday it is completely sold out. I have cruised where it was almost sold out but nothing like this. We are still months out. I would expect that come final payment time a few rooms will open up but they (DCL) may be counting on it. Just like airlines I believe DCL will over sell it's cruises so they have a full ship when they sail. I am sure everyone will get to go DCL really knows how far they can push the limits.

Glad you have decided to stay on board and to sail with us. Looking forward to hearing more from you as we draw closer to the sail date. Lois

I'm actually listening to the Castaway Club CD that Disney sends...DS requested it...we're packing for our Maui trip. Ain't life grand!!!

Wow I can't believe the cruise is sold out already!! I'm so stinking excited to go on the cruise I feel like I have been reading trip reports like crazy and they are totally adding to the excitement

I got a package from Newport News today 3 new dresses and a new swimsuit (yes Erica I know I posted I never buy their clothes, but they had some cute dresses this year, so I have now bought the clothes ). I'll wear them all summer but of course I had the cruise in mind when I ordered them. Now if only it were warm enough to begin to think of wearing them Anyway, it put me in the cruise mood even more to get those

I was listening to the "whistle" from the Magic the other day - spending alot of time on the DCL photo board. You're so lucky to be leaving for Maui - have a great time!

How was the quality? Last time I ordered from them, I was really disappointed. That reminds me - I ordered a swimsuit from disneyshopping before Christmas - classic styling with cute embroidered Mickey's on it - It was the size I normally order, but it was at least 2 sizes too big I forgot to send it back, so I guess I'll take it to my seamstress.

I know - the excitement is building....I will be really excited once we get our final payment in and find our plane tickets! We still need to finalize our pre-cruise plans. We will probably change our plans and stay at SSR before on points, then come directly home after the cruise I wanted to stay in the world for a couple of days, but everyone else has to go back to work.

Hi everyone! It's been a busy week for me. I haven't even been able to catch up on all the posts yet. Glad to see many of you have been dancing!! Today's another day to celebrate as you need to tear off another calendar page!

I woke up to a layer of dangerous ice, and it's raining now just adding to the diciness, so I would love some snow right now instead! It's going to be a rough ride to work, and unfortunately, my calendar doesn't permit it being a day that I can stay at home and work.

I'm passing along two things on my drive-by.

I splurged and made a cruise accessory purchase.

They have a beautiful domed ring that matches the pendant, but I just couldn't justify buying both...so it was a HARD decision!

Most importantly, I got Grandmother all lined up to join us!! Thank you everyone for your words of wisdom on how to tell her! My mom is BEYOND excited, not to mention me! So I'm waiting for a weekend mom doesn't work to go up there and tell Grandmother. Mom said Grandmother was over at her house this week, and she was showing her a slideshow I sent her of someone's food porn photos. She said it was so hard not to tell her that she would be eating up the grub herself! I'll certainly let you all know how that all unfolds!

I booked a Princess Alaskan cruise for my parents - there was a $35pp charge for fuel added in the fees for the final total.

Wow. I hope everyone stays safe with their ice or snow issues! Here in Dallas, we've had crazy winds for the past 3 days but nothing wet so it's at least safe. Well, except for the fires that some have had to deal with. Don't people understand you can't throw a cigarette out the window when there's high winds and dry brush? DUH people!

I've seen a flat rate and daily charges.

Just curious, what was your experience with Beaches that you wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Which Beaches did you go to - Turks & Caicos? or somewhere else?

Hope he likes it!! We never had enough boys in class growing up. But when you did, they really got to be the center of attention! Boys are definitely a welcome addition to any dance class. How else do the girls learn to partner?

Well....ballet/tap was a bust

It moved WAY too slow for Reese's taste...oh well! I think he imagined he'd be doing the Nutcracker dances right away. All the toe poiting, barre work, & toe tapping just wasn't enough moving around the room for his taste.

He did complete the class though, so I told him I was VERY proud of him for sticking with the 50 minutes of class even though he wasn't having fun the entire time
