I am getting a little better at this. Nan you should try it on yours.

VA Tech won by 325 pins (boys)for 16 Baker games. Girls won by 611!

Now there is some type of play off starting for the top two girls teams and top two boys teams. It is best two of three. All the teams have long drives home.

This qualifies Tech for sectionals regionals nationals.

I am really not sure what all that means
Yeah:cheer2: Sounds like they all had a wonderful weekend. Is Daniel feeling better?
Well as good as visiting a 91 year old MIL in her care home can be I guess!!!

We had great journeys both ways and managed to have a lovely meal with Johns sister and BIL last night. We called in on friends for an hour on the way back this afternoon which was lovely too.
Marilyn, glad you had a good weekend:goodvibes I visited my in-laws today ( a whole 10 minute drive away :lmao: ) I talked to my MIL yesterday, told her I was working today until 1:00 so would probably be there later in the afternoon, probably around 3:00. At 2:00 she called me and said "where are you?"They were waiting for me, lunch was ready :confused3 I replied that I was sorry, had to work until 1:00 and had said I wouldn't be there until 3:00, sorry, guess she hadn't heard me:confused3 My MIL is starting to get confused about things, it's so hard to know what to say. I don't want to hurt her feelings, so I say sorry and that she must not have heard me, when I really want to say, " I told you....!!!! "
Bad Mom's are okay. At least you aren't 'Negligent Mothers'.

Did you read the description of those things?

"Dazzle your admirers with these Jeweled G-strings made with semi-precious stones! Each unique one-of-a-kind Jeweled G™ can be detached from the panty and worn as a necklace as well"

I'm pretty darn sure, I don't want something that has been "there" hanging around my neck later.

 :lmao: :lmao:

I don't mean to scare you all, but I am a Wicked crazed person. I loved it! I have seen it 3 times ON BROADWAY. How silly am I? Seriously, like there is nothing else to see?

We are seeing Wicked for the second time next month in Cleveland. The first time was on Broadway. Sophia loves the show!

I'm watching the Drew Lachey season of DWTS on BBCA and low and behold - the PEDEGG commercial comes on - lol. I guess all those dancers have foot issues too.

did you have to mention the cheese grater in the middle of a walking taco conversation??? gross!!!!!

contact to the head of the QB - that's Roughing the Passer in the the CFL ... Not that many of you care, just thought I would blabber ... ;)

Those are some gross looking bananas. Better call in Bobby to get some good ones ...

Hey, they just showed bananas on a chair on the Superbowl!

They eat at School... Just not with so much love poured into it!!! :lovestruc

I posted this a long time ago...but thought I would again. One of the reasons Daniel really wanted to go to TECH....(one of the REAL reasons) is that they rate #1 in the nation for on campus food!! The food is AWESOME. When I am down there, we all would rather eat on campus instead of going out to eat.

Princeton Review Names Virginia Tech No. 1 in Dining

BLACKSBURG, Va., August 21, 2007—Virginia Tech dining is No. 1 in the nation, according to The Princeton Review’s "Best 366 Colleges: 2008 Edition." The university has steadily climbed the ranks of the best campus food category, improving upon last year's No. 2 spot.

Virginia Tech's ranking indicates the highest student satisfaction rating among college dining programs in the United States. The Princeton Review surveys are based upon student evaluations in a variety of categories. Students from each of the 366 featured schools complete opinion polls about their own colleges, which are then compared to student feedback at other colleges.

Providing high quality food, offering excellent customer service, and staying abreast of current dining trends have become hallmarks of Virginia Tech dining. Customer satisfaction is paramount, and Dining Services improves facilities, employs executive chefs and trained culinary professionals, and follows stringent food safety procedures in an effort to increase satisfaction.

Virginia Tech received three Loyal E. Horton Awards this year and the grand prize for a theme dinner from the National Association of College and University Food Services. Individual restaurants receive recognition as well, including Deet’s Place’s Golden Cup Award from the Specialty Coffee Association of America, a 2006 Franchise of the Year Award for Au Bon Pain, and D2’s Outstanding Design Award from American School & University Magazine.

The program’s success stems from an effort to tailor facilities to students’ needs. Students are encouraged to share their opinions by talking to dining center staff or filling out online and paper comment cards. A panel of Student Advisory Committee volunteers meets regularly with administrators to provide input. Housing and Dining Services has made changes to menus, improved facilities, and extended hours of operation as a result of feedback from these programs.

That fire breathing Bud Light commercial almost happened here. We have some salsa with chips and it has quite the kick to it...

That's the first time I've seen that Chester Pitts commercial for the NFL - that was pretty well done.

I wish I had a smart a s s remark for this but I can't think of one...

layers of stuff...

beans dip
sour cream
cheese
guacamole
salsa
black olives

Oh, that would really satisfy my crazy cravings tonight! YUMMY!!!!!!!!

I wore a Speedo when Amy and I first met, and I was a bean pole too Dennis. Skinny! Not like muscle man that the girls posted. I keep wanting to scan the first photo of Amy and I at the MK - it is from around 1985 I think, and I am wearing Speedo like shorts!
Please do! We'd all love to see!

oooh I bet John was thrilled about that one! Reminds me of that song "how do you like me now?" you should have been humming it.

I bet John could have planted him with the pineapples!
