Lizzy has worn the same dress for the last 3 years. I guess I got the $17 value out of that! She keeps growing a brick or more each year. Notice no pictures up on the mantel yet.
A few more pictures. Joe and Emma's cakes:
Wonderful pictures! Lizzy sure has grown!
Robyn, I missed that your great aunt had passed. Your family (and her husband) will be in my prayers!
Jennifer- Love the names. I have a second cousin named Avery her aunt is name Elisea, not the same but similar.
Jennifer- I love the letters (and the names that they spell
). Emma's middle name is Elyse (I have a huge aversion to the letter "I" since everyone spelled my name wrong when I was growing up) It really bothers me that Lucy's middle name has an "I" in it. But Matylda just didn't look right. Have a great weekend with Kyle.
Robyn sorry for your loss
Jen cute names
Bernadette love the pics
Jennifer - I love the names. My middle name is Elise (named after my grandmother, whose name was Elsie), and we've already decided that if we're blessed with a daughter, she will be named Madeleine Elise. That's what Jonathan chooses to call me a lot as well. You did a great job on the craft project, too.
We're expecting a foot or more
It hasn't started here yet
Beautiful names.
I'm caught up and heading to bed as I'm bushed. TTYL
Love them!!!!
Love the names, love the letters, love the colors. They are just all around perfect!
Jennifer--I love the names! i do have to say that when i was catching up and saw that you were posting pictures, i was searching, then saw the few letters and i was going to yell at you
Thanks everyone!
You know - I read REALLY FAST to get to this post and I almost screamed "This is all we get?!?" I was about to remove the box of Thin Mints from the package I'm mailing you and Kyle...
...and then I saw this and all was well in the world. Love the choices!
So.... do I still get the cookies?!
I got no special treatment on this announcement?!!
You did a great job on the letters and the names are sweet.
I was being harassed!
Thank you anyway, though
Tonight, we celebrated my step-father-in-law's birthday at a local wings place.
Technically, he's only 17, though he looks 68.
I think tomorrow I'm going to take Alyssa out for a little shopping (Girl's Club, as she calls it
). I want to hit the Payless BOGO sale before it ends Monday.
All of Kevin's new computer finally arrived (Dell sent it in four boxes throughout the week), so I know he'll be anxious to get that going this weekend.
This upcoming week is a busy one, so I hope we just take it easy.
Where is the Girls Club headed?
I will be out this morning, but probably at VOA instead of Tri-County. I've run into you at VOA before, though, I think!
Ditto - knew I was forgetting something in my earlier post!
How about a good AP rate for your August trip?
I'm on the same resorts thread as Marci, and everyone's endorsements have me interested, too. Thanks for weighing in!
Thanks, Tia.
Just noticed your signature - congrats on winning the challenge!
Congratulations Tia! You're doing so well!
Deb - instead of the "warmth" that Jennifer talks about I use "glee" because I like the pinker tone it has. But I agree that their brushes are terrific too.
Oh, that's another thing I love about the line -- you can use the same product for different things! I actually use the Soft Focus Glee Elin mentions as a blush in the winter (still with a little bit of the warmth in the "E" shape they teach you at the store). In the summer, I actually use Bare Radiance as a blush, even though it was initially marketed as an "all over face color" (like the clear radiance). And don't get me started on the brushes... they are outstanding! I have about 20, and there are more on my wish list but Kyle would kill me if I bought any more!
So I guess I'm up a little early for my fight check in. (I got up when Bob left for work.) I guess I'll go watch some TV for a while.
It's amazing to see what's going on at others homes this early in the morning. My neighbor is going on a golfing trip - he's loading an SUV with three very loud friends of his.
Oh...and my other neighbor and I found a puppy yesterday! I pulled into the garage and walked down the driveway to get the mail - and there was a dog in her flower bushes. He started barking and barking and wouldn't shut up. So I went over to the neighbors and asked her if she happened to get a dog - Nope! He was tangled up in from his lead and in a choke collar - no tags. CUTEST LITTLE BUGGER. Of course, APL and the Dog Warden both only work until 4pm...and it's now 6pm. As much as Bob and I would love a dog, now's not the moment. Plus this is a puppy. He couldn't be more than a few months old. So we call the Sheriff's department. They want to know if we can keep him overnight. Umm...no. (I love dogs - but not with three cats in the house that are now hiding in the basement - and the dog isn't even in the house). So she pages the Warden. An hour later I call back and she pages him again. Would you believe they will only come out after hours if it's considered a vicious (sp?) dog?? I'm telling him this is the cutest puppy, a little scared and hungry, just needs a warm place..his response "well unless he's vicious, we can't come out - so did you see him growl?" Umm..yeah he growled and tried biting my shoe...sure. That's what happened. Mind you my shoe is not on my foot...it's my garage shoes next to the door that he was biting. The Warden laughed and said someone would come out. An associate of his was here within 10 minutes - and I swear he will be taking this puppy home in three days (the APL's waiting period). The puppy (apparently a Pug/Beagle mix - more expensive than a purebred!) The puppy about threw a hissy when he realized he wasn't allowed to ride in the front seat of the truck!
This is what he looked like from what I could find on the internet - except he was black, tan and white instead of all tan colored like this one:
(Isn't that face just the cutest?!?)
I know he'll be adopted in a heartbeat - and I feel bad for the "owner" for loosing this dog...but put on a collar with tags! Even my cats have tags and they are inside cats only....
Ok..rant over. Time to go back to bed now. I hope I'm up by 6:30am now!
Oh, how precious -- a Puggle! A friend of mine has one of those, colored more like the one you described. Kyle would have kept it. He's begging for another puppy, but I'm thinking we have just a few too many other small lives to entertain around here between our psychotic adult dog that will freak out when we bring two babies, and the two babies themselves!
Have your cats recovered?
I'm awake. Just waiting for 6:40am to roll around for the offical printing of the Southwest Boarding Pass.
ETA: The clock is about 10 minutes slow for me.
Did you get a good pass?!
