. . . I printed out my packing list from my last cruise. It looks like I noted how many pairs of shorts, capris, tees, tanks, etc. I actually used. So if I double it, I should be good to go. If all that won't fit, I guess I'll be rinsing some things out.
Cheri,

With the current airline luggage restrictions and the need to pack lighter, we have packed a small container of Woolite and some clothes pins. There's a retractable clothesline over the tub.

Evening all,

Just had an exciting day. Last night our neighbour came over to tell us, something had ripped open our gable vent. I went out and checked and wow...half of it ripped open......Racoons!!!!:scared1: :scared1:

Nancy had woken up during the night earler in the week, thinking it sounded like someone was on the roof....now we know!!!

So we called the local Humaine animal control people to help us out. Just after he arrived, he discovered the gable vent on the other side of the house was ripped open too. It seems this is the time for recoons to build nests and have ther babies.....5-6.....:scared1:

He then went into out attic where he found an immature female...and was unable to presuade he out.....so he sealed off all the openings and installed a temp one way door, with some peanut butter as a lure....so she can come out but not go back in...:cool1:

just what we needed ....

so we will find out tomorrow morning if the trick works....:thumbsup2

now back to packing...

...Oh by the way can we have a Politic FREE cruise, I am so tiered of hearing it??

Probably won't be much of a problem with that...politics has rarely come up on the thread...possibly because many of us don't even want to go there on a public forum. Just get your tablemates to agree...any other conversation you can just walk away from.

I will be happy to forget about it for two weeks, as I'll be coming back to political advertising for the end of summer/fall. UNFORTUNATELY, probably not as much of it ($) as we were hoping for in our market.

Took a lunch break at Peg's and she said to tell all of you to have a WONDERFUL trip and to take good care of ME!

Back to sorting and stuff.

Weren't you the ones using the veranda to do laundry on the Double Dip (LOL).

What? No one else here has the family tradition of travelling with rancid leftovers in their luggage.

I know... that cassarole was SO good...

I have to have a good cup of coffee everyday. We have very good coffee at home, so I'm spoiled.

To me, the Disney coffee is more of a "coffee flavored hot beverage."

I still need a decent cup of coffee everyday.

One of the things I really enjoy at home is waking up early, the quietness and stillness of everything, the birds chirping, and a cup of really good coffee.

Dr Pepper and I sleep in... sorry friend...

You're actually cleaning before you leave. What an interesting notion.

When we leave, I'm just going to toss a hand grenade into the living room and shut the front door.

Oh... my house looks like that already... only my sister cleans before she leaves... I personally pack half the house...

Well I am officially graduated!!!

Today I am going with my friend to Piegon Forge and then tonight the High School is doing Beauty and the Beast. I will be getting my postcards today too.

:woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo:

Another reason to celebrate at Our Table!!!!

At dance class today, Jenna was invited to dance with "The Company" next year. She is so excited! For us, just means more nights driving her to class. Kinda good and bad!

I just noticed that three of us were on the Double Dip together -- ibouncetoo, flymv, and I.

This will be a reunion!

Woody

I know I've asked this before, but, how many singles are people bringing with them?

I finally amassed a stack of singles but am not sure how much I should bring with me.

We've got 100 in 1's and another 100 in 5's & 10's for various things..

I wanted to tell ALL of you to have a wonderful cruise and we look forward to seeing her on May 25th:lovestruc

I know she is in good hands:thumbsup2

Thanks much!!!! Have a good time on your cruise... :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks! Although we'll be very sad to hand her off to you. :sad1:

Time to stuff the kitten into the carrier......wish me luck!

.

How's the kitten????? And how many bandaids did it take for you????

I'm still trying to decide about ordering flowers from DCL to brighten my dungeon. Least expensive are about $35.....equal to about 5.2 adult beverages. Decisions.....decisions.....

.
.

My sister ordered the pink roses for my mom... I think she will love them. It's just us in the room and I think I can find a nice place to put them.

Clearing out the camera for the trip. Took some pictures in the backyard and we have some weird things going on with some plants:

I don't know, thought it would be interesting. We planted 35 creeping figs this winter, so pretty soon all those ugly walls will be covered with foliage.

Congrats to Jenna!

Where you been, boy? We're already planning a double-dip meal for breakfast or lunch (can't remember). OK, we haven't PLANNED it, we just talked about doing it. I've got both your stateroom numbers on my little 'cheet sheet' card for my laynard pouch, so I can hunt you guys down on a moment's notice. :thumbsup2

No problem this time, I think I've discovered the trick...tilt the carrier up on it's end and place her in feet first!

Wasn't (isn't) it a beautiful day today! I took my late lunch break on Peg's patio and it was just glorious out there. She got in her pool...74 degrees! I might try jumping in tomorrow and playing with her snorkel till I turn blue!

Tiime to wander into the other room and rearragne some more piles.....this could talk all night at this rate.

.

You know, at first glance I misread this and read that your mother went to Cartier's. I was wondering about what you were bringing on this cruise.

Remember... MORE IS MORE!!!!

Your customs are strange to me. What is this thing you call .. i r o n?

Yeah...it's that flat thing you used last week... you know... 40 minutes???

A grenade will not deter the sea monkeys, you need something scarier.:rotfl:

FINALLY!!! Someone is thinking Sea Monkey repellant...

Speaking of the male variety at the Champagne Girls tasting.....I kind of asked John if he would play narrator and educator for us with each of the champagnes. I can't even pronounce the names of them much less do a presentation on each of them. Karen did say that she would put together something for us to use in some format, but I'll need it by Wednesday and I'm not sure of her schedule so I can't count on it.

If John is there to help us, I still hope it's a lot of fun for us even if it is going to be scary for him!

How does he look in pink????

Gouodux, your yard is beautiful. I think I would feel like I was on vacation everyday with a yard like that! DH and I used to vacation in Phoenix when my uncle lived there thirty years ago. We loved it there. I imagine that we wouldn't even recognize the area now.

Donna

Have a good day Nan.

Why did you write the word yawn? Now I am yawning my head off!!!:lmao:
yawn.gif

ha, it was to bug you, but the bug is gone :scared1: maybe he left on vacation too:goodvibes

We are home from the races. Not sure if my phone post worked, I'll have to read and see, but in case it didn't Wilson took 7th place out of 12. It was a long, hard and good day. Tough competition, but he is happy at his place. We also sent out his engine to be reworked while we are on the trip. The top 5 racers have their engines made(read rebuild) by one person and we figure we needed to drop the bucks ($475) to see if it will make Wilson competive on that level.

I'm going to read thru and jump in on the front page now....see ya soon :goodvibes
