DDA Chapter 16

yep....I can not drink sweet coffee or tea...it makes me gag

I remember you didn't like that one because it was so sweet.
I put sugar in my coffee, but if I use flavored creamer I don't add sugar.
This Itnl Delight is just GROSS. It smells (and tastes) like chemicals. Which it is, but I don't want to be reminded of that with every sip!

Here's a picture of our latest baby-craft, DD is doing the room in Ladybugs so we've gone a little buggy.

And as you can see her name will be Aubrey Marie, Marie is for my mother and Aubrey because we like it.

Six more weeks and she'll be here.

Princess has a little outfit with lady bugs on it and she would wear that outfit every day if I would let her. Of course it is a summer outfit, and now it is too small. But once in awhile I will ask what she wants to wear and she'll still say "The lady bug outfit!"

Have you guys talked about possible dates for August? I want to make sure we do the DDA dinner on a night you can join us!

I know you were asking Debbie, today was my 7 month window, so I called MS. I was able to get a studio at BCV for all the days I wanted, Aug. 9-15!

Good luck, Becky. I would die if I tried to run any distance like that, so I will pass. I was never one that got into running. For me it's boring, and painful.

It is very painful for me too. I HATE running.

I had the most bizarre dreams last night!

The first one was about going to WDW. DH got in trouble and was put into some sort of detention corral by a CM. The CM claimed DH smarted off at him when the CM asked him to step aside so a wheelchair could go past us in the queue for Space Mtn. I got into a huge fight with the CM, they had to call a manager, not sure how it ended.

Next scene was me, walking with DS. We were in an area sort of like a hotel lobby, but sort of like DTD. I glanced over and saw the Uncles. I said to DS "WHAT are they doing here? It is only August 2! We are supposed to have FIVE more days before they got here!" We decided to run before they caught sight of us. For some reason I was holding a stack of library books, and I dropped one. DS ran back to pick it up and the Uncles saw him, so they started running behind us, trying to get our attention.
When DS and I got outside we saw 2 guys with handguns and a big black trash bag standing outside a jewelry store. I had to decide if we should duck into the shop where they sell bathroom fixtures (faucets, shower heads, etc.) and tell them to call the police, or if we should keep running. Obviously I wanted the police to get there before the guys finished robbing the jewelry store. Not sure how that one ended, either.

Then there was a dream about a house in the woods, next to a mountain. There was all of this water running down the mountain, and it was starting to flood around the house. The mountain was gorgeous, and I was taking pics of it to post here for you guys. There was a deck on the back of the house that the water was already covering, and there was maybe another inch before the water would be in the house. I told DS to go make sure all of the electrical cords were up off of the floor while I went out to bring the 2 dogs and the cat inside before their crates washed away. I had the fleeting thought that I should look at the weather and see how big the hurricane was so I would know if the rain would stop soon. But it wasn't raining, it was just flooding. Very strange. That one ended as I was bringing the second dog into the house. The guy who mows the lawn at work was there, telling me to give the dog some ham.

I think I have some sort of anxiety issue.

I'm amazed that you remembered them. I never remember my dreams.

Thanks, I'll have to work things out at work, but I'm thinking the week of the 10th, our passes will expire on the 12th but DH is insisting that we get them renewed. (I've created a monster )

Thanks, they are supposed to close on their new house on Jan. 30th and the baby is due Feb. 20th, we are going to be in a mad dash to get them moved into the new place.

Great! I wasn't sure if you were just going to pop in for the weekend or stay a bit longer. The 12th is the date I have penciled in for the DDA dinner, but we still have PLENTY of time to settle on a date. Hmph. Stupid ADR window.

We just got home from bowling. It took FOREVER this morning. Hunter had a great series with a 113, 100, 116. He was very happy. As we were packing up I got a call from a sick co worker. It looks like I will be working tonight after all. I just hope it is busy to make it worth my while.

Hunter is not feeling well since he finished bowling. He has a tummy ache and is feeling very dizzy. He often is dizzy and I'm pretty sure that it is because he eats so little. I made him a bowl of chicken soup when we got home and he did eat it, but his tummy still hurts. He is laying down so he isn't dizzy at the moment.

Chris is working on a car that he and my dad bought and fixed. He wants to get it detailed as they will try to resell it now.

I guess that's where we are at the moment. Hope you all are having a great day.

Deb - DH rarely (almost never) remembers his dreams. Mine are so vivid I usually remember them. DS is the same way - he usually remembers them and is often really, really scared by how realistic they are.
I hope it is worthwhile for you to work tonight!
I hope Hunter feels better soon!

I am babysitting tonight. Love the family, but they are having a really hard time choosing furniture for the new house. Every other time I go over there the living room is completely empty because they keep sending the furniture back! I can't sit on the floor the whole time because of my back. I can either bring a dining chair into the living room, bring a bean bag in from the play room, or fight with the dog for a spot on the love seat in the play room. The problem with sitting in the play room is that I can't seem to change channels on that TV. The living room has an awesome TV. Hopefully tonight there will also be a couch!

I'm also thinking of going from Dec. 18-24. The kids last day of school is the 18th, so they wouldn't miss any. AKV concierge is sounding good for that too. I think if we go that week, we'll overlap with Elin's trip. Anyone else want to go that week and crash her vacation again?
