Debbie- I love the name and the letters!!!

Elizabeth- I used to love that Pumpkin Pie creamer but can't stomach it this year. I'm wondering if they changed their formula. I love your crazy dreams. Joe had another date last night!!

Becky and Vicki- Good luck with the marathon plans.

Everyone that is in the middle of the snow storms, stay safe.

I think I was home for about 2 hours yesterday in between all my running. Certainly not my normal. The girls had fun at their event last night and the drama students at the high school did a fabulous job with them. That was very refreshing to see. Emma, Lily and Mo stayed up well past midnight watching Star Wars and then were up by 6:30am. Oh, to be young again!!

I need to finish up the cake I need done by later today. I also need to get in the shower and get ready to leave by 1:30pm. Later tonight Eric and I are going out with a bunch of Boy Scout parents to a dinner. Yes, I said Boy Scouts. Did I tell you that Eric is now helping out one of our Girl Scout girl's dad with his Boy Scout troop. The dad and Eric did scouts together when they were younger and we all live on the same street. I figure it gets Eric out of the house for a bit and gives him something to do!! A win win situation for both of us.

I'm also thinking of going from Dec. 18-24. The kids last day of school is the 18th, so they wouldn't miss any. AKV concierge is sounding good for that too. ;) I think if we go that week, we'll overlap with Elin's trip. Anyone else want to go that week and crash her vacation again? :rotfl:

If we go in December it will be Dec. 3-7.
Momboss was thinking about maybe trying to go in October. DS has off Oct. 9, so we could go Oct. 8-13 and he would only miss 2 days if we left after school on Thursday. I am not sure we could pull off an October trip after 2 weeks in August. Depends on airfare.

Robyn - Really, the Coffee Mate creamer is fine. The other brand is GROSS!
Yay for Joe!!
Have fun at your Boy Scout thing. :)

Mom just called. The insurance has approved her radiation with the new machine. She starts radiation on Tuesday afternoon. Good thoughts for her would be greatly appreciated!! I hate that her first radiation is on the 13th. :scared: And it is a Tuesday, which is historically a bad luck day for me.

She will continue the treatments for her lymphedema for another couple of weeks. The radiation will be for about 6 weeks.

I am happy there is an end in sight, but I am nervous about what complications she may encounter before she finishes treatment.

thanks for the dittoable post, you busy, busy lady!

I don't think so. But if something goes wrong I will KNOW it went wrong because of it being Tuesday the 13th! Tuesday the 13th seems to be a very likely day for me to get bad news. :scared:
Thank you for the prayers. :goodvibes

I need heavy alcohol....I can't take the mess that the children and dogs keep bringing into this house from the snow :scared1:

Bill informed me that I need to "lighten up, since the snow will be here until March":sick::sick: I'm not sure I can make it!

I honestly have no idea if I could even complete the half. But you do not know unless you try. I am thinking I may rather do a triathlon. But who knows.;)

It has hardly snowed here yet, but they are calling for more later. Although it may be rain again, meaning ice. My sinuses are killing me yesterday and today, I am assuming from the air pressure totally swinging around.

I need to work on cleaning. But would rather sit here doing nothing.

That is wonderful news Elizabeth!

I'm caught up here and heading to work. This is really taking a chunk out of my weekend. I had planned to go grocery shopping tonight so now I'll need to reschedule that. Nick has a friend coming over tomorrow and he is a bit wild for my tasted. Maybe I'll go while he is here and let Chris deal with him ;)

You should move to a place with no snow. ;)

That is wonderful news Elizabeth!

Thanks! I am really surprised the insurance agreed to cover it!

Kristine, I remember those days. It seemed that there were piles of wet coats and they needed dry ones almost every hour if they were outside playing!!! :lmao:

Also alcohol is good too!!! :lmao:

it's a fantasy...not one I see happening :sad2:

Exactly!! I have been running up and down throwing various articles of clothing in the drier....not to mention having to blow dry the big beast of a dog....the snow just sticks to his curly fur

Bob had to shovel the driveway at 10am before he could snowblow the driveway at 11am. It's now 4:30pm and he's snowblowing again.

That would solve your problems Kristine. :lmao:

I AM WOMAN!!!! HEAR ME ROAR!!!!!!

I just got done running my 6 miles. I was able to do it under the 16 minute pace. I'm so excited. I haven't done that since college. Signing up for the 1/2 marathon is exactly what I needed. I haven't stayed on an exercise plan since high school. I exercised in college but I was never in the best of shape even then. I need to get some better socks and some different shorts. Otherwise, my body seems to be holding up really well.

I'm off to do some shopping. I need some pepsi for the week (one per day). I want to check out running shoes, socks and shorts (or skirts). I also need to get some dinner. Chat with you later.

Chuck's mom is doing ok but she has definitely lost her confidence. She is a very strong woman.

Chuck's sister-in-law is on the edge as well. I guess she kind of had a breakdown at the house today. Chuck & I want to do something nice for her like a massage or something. Any ideas?

She is beside herself that if she hadn't stopped to check on mom last week that she could have died. On top of that, she is the one doing most of the work helping Mom out with all the daily stuff (Chuck's brother is useless in that category plus he is very demanding of her). SIL is a wonderful person. She & I are as close as we can be with her married to Chuck's brother.

So who is watching football? I know Jennifer must be..

Im watching tennesse and baltimore now--then headed to a sports bar for dinner--i am so not gong to be happy when football season is over!
