Not much to report today for food, another trip to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch after morning in Universal, came out just before the rain at 2pm, temp in car said 107F dropped to 91F when we got moving, by the time we got to ST and rains had come it dropped to 70F, massive fall in a few mins.
This eve been to Epcot to watch fireworks, few goes on Test Track and a bite to eat at Electric Umberella.
Karens Birthday tomorrow, she wants to be in MK for it.

We did have a great day yesterday. MK until mid afternoon, lost count of how many people said Happy Birthday to Karen, both cast members and guests. Then took boat across to Poly for a Dole Whip, after that walked upstairs to the shop, on the way a cast member was wandering around offering cookies to everyone so we all had one. After eve meal went to Boardwalk but the heavens opened so no street entertainment again(2nd time we have tried) still a great time looking around.
Meals were Karens choice, her 2 fave places Harbour house at MK and Mimis cafe for eve meal, will post pics later, not uploaded yet.

All looks great so far - though you forgot to add a pic of the Kitchen Sink when you went to Beaches 'n' Cream, or are you saving that for another trip.
I have never had a burger there before - but your pics are certainly making me tempted.

We had never tried Dole Whips till we were there at Easter. After all we had heard about how wonderful they were, we had high hopes. But, sadly, we weren't keen when we actually tried them.

Now, let's guess what you had...... Would that be Liver & Onions for you, and Turkey for your wife? Based on your recommendations, that's what we tried in Mimi's. DH really enjoyed the liver, I enjoyed the turkey.

No Kitchen sink this trip, its a great experience but just too much for 3 of us.

Like always not enough time. Glad its only 8-9 weeks to next trip.

Karen prefers vanilla icecream but myself and Matt love Dole whips, especially at the Poly resort where you serve yourself, should call it a Dole Tower.

Shock news, after about 10 visits to Mimis having liver every time I tried something different, Jambalaya, included chicken, spicy sausage, pork loin and large shrimp piled high on penne pasta, It was delicious and a massive portion. Karen had usual turkey dinner, Matt had his usual Chicken parmasan.
Server +2 others came over to sing Mimis Birthday song and free choc birthday dessert. Great meal incl 3 sodas & 3 caesar salads $53

Today was our last day, got to Hollywood studios for opening but it was EMH so really busy as it was also Star Wars weekend and the latest American Idol winner was there, he sang and answered questions but we didn't know him.
Came out mid afternoon to buy Matt some Converse trainers, should have bought at Prime few days ago as they did not have then at Premium, bought him 2 Tshirts, Converse get cheaper every trip, $4.98 each(paid $25 for 3 last year for same ones), others were from $2.95.
This evening went to Texas Roadhouse but not had time to upload pics yet. Finished off at DTD, went to look at 2009 Annual pass pin but we didn't like it, also cancelled an ADR for August, Spirit of Aloha, we went to around the venue a few days ago, didn't like look of it. Booked 2 more ADR's but couldn't get in for Chef Mickey's, tried a few evenings all booked up.
Fly at 12 noon, home Sunday morning but we really don't want to leave.

At least you know you will be back soon, which always makes leaving easier. It is lovely and sunny up here so hopefully you will be greeted home with sunshine which is always better than rain - makes me want to jump back on the plane if the weather is bad.
