Hi Tracy, yes its oppsite The Loop, we have friends that live out there so started eating at Hunters Creek quite a bit, theres a new Olive Garden, Logans Roadhouse, Orlando Alehouse, Texas Roadhouse, Mimis and lots more. Tend to get better service and meals as they serve more locals than tourists. $1.25 each way in tolls.

Our diets will have to start this week, next trip is 25 nights with DDP and incl 7 night cruise. Have about 9 weeks to get weight down a lot.

Flight home was not the best, OK upto Chicago but the transatlantic leg we got someone 3 rows back who had the loudest worst voice I have ever heard, only stopped talking for about 2 hours out of 7. Also guy in front wanted seat back from take off to landing, as soon as we left the runway he laid back. I have no problems at all 95% of the flight but think its totally inconsiderate at meal times. I had to have words staff also not the friendliest but all on time and back in home for 8:30am.
Will sort out best pics in next few days.

Sorry about the flight back, that is awful when you get someone like that infront of you. I had DS2 on my lap on th elast flight back and the lady infront wanted to have her seat all the way back it was about an inch from his little face and she complained when he accidentally kicked her seat.

i HATE that when they have their seatbacks in your lap for meals (not to mention the rest of the time)..

american airlines is hit or miss when it comes to the flight crews...i've had really nice, really nasty, and kind of in between....doesn't speak well of their hiring and training...

i'm wondering about delta now that they're merging with northwest...
with even less competition across the ocean, i wonder if delta's prices will rise...
i'm pretty sad about the whole thing, for while i loved to hate northworst, delta was always even worse on the ground....which isn't easy, as nwa is pretty god awful on the ground.....but delta manages to outdo even them..

but anyway, i've been wondering if they'll add more flights into atlanta now...(and do away with the ones into detroit)...
